General Hospital RECAP Wednesday, August 8: Robert Loses Finn’s Signal, Peter Released

General Hospital’s Wednesday August 8 recap kicks off with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) practicing opening arguments.  Julian (William DeVry) walks in and claps.  Alexis questions why Julian is there.

Kiki’s Trial Is Ready To Begin

Julian and Alexis talk about the meeting with Kiki.  Alexis is worked up over all of this. Julian is angry because of Alexis.  Julian thanks Alexis Kiki is fortunate to have her.  Alexis and Julian talk about the baby. Everyone arrives at court.  Franco (Roger Howarth) needs to talk to Alexis right now.

Drew And Margaux Meet For A Hotdog

General Hospital’s Drew (Billy Miller) is freaking out to Kim (Tamara Braun) over school emails.  Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) walks up and Drew introduces them. Kim promises to help Drew handle the school stuff.  Kim can’t go to court.  Elizabeth tells Kim she’s considering taking Cameron.  Drew invites Margaux for a hot dog.

Peter Is Free For Now

General Hospital’s Robert (Tristan Rogers) talks to Peter (Wes Ramsey) and demands proof of the patients.  Peter wants his freedom agreement in writing. Robert tells Peter writing this agreement could take months. Robert wants to know about the other patients.

Robert accuses Peter of stonewalling.  Robert offers a compromise.  Robert is shelving the charges for now.  If Robert needs Peter for a WSB operation he will assist.   Margaux shows up and Robert turns Peter over to her.  Margaux cannot get evidence against Peter.

Margaux doesn’t want Peter released into the public.  Margaux is going to try and prove Peter stole Drew’s identity. Margaux and Peter continue to spar while Drew listens in.  Peter wants to know why Margaux is so interested.  Margaux demands Peter give back Drew’s identity.

Drew doesn’t believe Peter ever had the flash drive.  Margaux offers to prosecute Peter for Drew. Griffin (Matt Cohen) arrives to visit Peter. Margaux follows Drew who sees Peter as a victim. Griffin wants to talk about Anna (Finola Hughes).  Margaux comes back and tells Peter he’s free to go, an officer will release him.  Robert tells Peter his ass belongs to him. Robert tells Peter the WSB has taken Faison’s (Anders Hove) belongings.

Anna Removes Finn’s Chip

General Hospital’s Finn (Michael Easton) wants proof Anna is alive. Anna is in a room getting blood.  Finn captor goes to take a picture of Anna. Anna gets a scalpel off the captor. Finn demands to see Anna alive.  Finn’s captor goes back out of the room. Finn is left with Anna who kisses him. Anna questions if he’s been kidnapped.

Anna asks if this is Robert’s plan.  Finn says he is there to cure a patient of a disease he doesn’t recognize. Anna and Finn missed each other.  Anna finds the chip and tells Finn they can’t have that. Anna removes the transponder.  Finn is being taken somewhere else to see the patient.

Kiki Feels Guilty

General Hospital’s Ava (Maura West) gives Kiki (Hayley Erin) advice on how to act in court.  Griffin tells Kiki to not give Bensch (James DePaiva) anything.  Ava tells Kiki she’s beautiful and honest, let that show. Griffin has to go by the hospital before the court.

Ava doesn’t like Kiki’s choice of clothes for court. Kiki feels more like herself. Ava says there is nothing that could diminish her love for Kiki.

Franco Has A Secret

General Hospital’s Scottie (Kin Shriner) tells Franco how some people crack under oath.  Scottie tells Franco that Griffin and Kiki slept together.  Scottie wants to know what Franco is going to do about it.  Franco volunteers to go to Alexis directly.  Franco goes to pick up Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst).  Elizabeth questions Franco about Griffin.

Maxie and Nina Talk To Peter

General Hospital’s Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nina (Michelle Stafford) discuss advertisers.  Valentin joins Maxie and Nina.  Valentin tells Nina the stables have been rebuilt.  Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) has bought a mare for Nina as well.  Maxie tells Valentin to back off of Nina.  Maxie points out that Nathan is dead because of him as well as Faison.  Maxie and Nina have to get to an appointment.

Nina tells Valentin she will give Charlotte riding lessons.  Maxie and Nina see Peter at the hospital.  Peter wants to see James, Maxie allows it.  Nina and Maxie questions where Peter will go now.  Maxie doesn’t hate Peter.  Peter tells Maxie he has decided to stay in Port Charles. Valentin calls the prison to speak to a prisoner.
