General Hospital RECAP Wednesday, April 25: Sam and Jason Discuss Luck and Fate

April 25th General Hospital update begins with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) on the phone with Lucy (Lynn Herring). She tells Lucy she will be at the Nurse’s Ball but is not performing. Drew (Billy Miller) shows up and asks about Sam (Kelly Monaco) and the kids.

Sam and Jason Bike Ride

Sam and Jason (Steve Burton) arrive at the hotel. They rented a bike and just came in from a ride in true General Hospital fashion.

Julian Overhears Baby News

Julian (William DeVry) walks in and hears Lucas (Ryan Carnes) talking to Brad (Parry Shen) about the baby and fixing up the nursery. General Hospital’s Lucas tells Julian the birth mother chose them and they know this wouldn’t be happening without Julian Lucas tells Julian about his and Brads reaction to the news about the baby. Julian tells him that finding out he was a father changed his life.

Lucas tells Julian that he came through as a father when it counted. He wishes he could change the past few years, all he can do is try to prove himself to his kids. He tells him to let him know if he needs anything else.

Jordan Refuses

Curtis (Donnell Turner) proposes, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) wants him to get up. She says she can’t marry him if the only reason he’s asking is he thinks she might die. Curtis says he wants what time they can have be it whether it’s 30 years or 5 years, please marry me. Jordan talking to Curtis about being married before and cheating. He says that’s the past and they learn from their mistakes, they know enough not to repeat them. She says that is exactly why she’s hesitant about marrying him.

Jordan wants to know what if it doesn’t work. What is will do to TJ (Tequan Richmond) and Stella (Vernee Watson). Curtis tells her this just matters to the two of them. She wants to say yes. He urges her to say yes. The doctor calls.  Jordan says she’s fine and tells Curtis he’s off the hook, he can take back his proposal. General Hospital’s Jordan wants to wait on marriage. She wants to be a better wife to Curtis that she was to Tommy. He leaves, not sure what to do from there.

Spinelli Matchmakes

Alexis tells Drew that Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) got arrested and that Jason, Sam, and Spinelli stayed behind to work on the investigation. Drew leaves and goes to Monica’s (Leslie Charleston). Sam loves Switzerland and the beer and they got Jason to wear a helmet. He says they robbed a bank, he didn’t want to be recognized. They find out that Spinelli stranded them together in Switzerland, they have passage home Friday.  Sam on the phone with the airline they have nothing until Friday. Jason tells her that Spinelli knew Sam and the kids were there. She’s going to have to have a conversation with Spinelli. Jason tells Sam that Spinelli said if they ran into each other it was fate. He says Spinelli tried to push fate and he’s not going to do that again because they both know she wants to be alone.

Joss Makes A Suggestion

At General Hospital, Joss (Eden McCoy) and Oscar (Garren Stitt) talking about his article for the school paper and if he was afraid to show it to her. Still, at General Hospital, Joss wants Oscar to send a copy of his article to his dad, maybe it will bring his parents together.

Kim Texts Drew

Drew gets a text from Kim, she tells him about the article and wants to buy him lunch so he can tell her his idea of how to talk to Oscar. Kim tells Drew he can mention the editorial if he wants. Julian invites Kim and Drew to join him for lunch. Kim and Drew turn Julian down for lunch. She says up until now Julian has been great. He just wants to talk about their son.

Sam and Jason Talk

Meanwhile, General Hospital’s Sam says it felt so good to be back to herself. Sam says they can ask Anna if she wants to go back and check out the files. GH Jason wants to know if she’s sure she wants to stay with this investigation. He loves working with her but she said she wanted distance. She replies, “I did say that and this isn’t it”. Jason tells her when he got out of the clinic he had no idea how long he had been gone. He didn’t realize until he was on the freighter that he had been gone five years. He said he was afraid for them that now, he’s good whatever happens next.

Alexis and Finn Agree to Move Ahead With Their Relationship

Alexis telling Finn that she likes him. She doesn’t think they should be each other’s rebound relationship. They both understand what the other is going through. They decide they are over thinking things and agree to take the journey. He has missed her, it’s been a long time since they have been close. She says, the sex? That was spontaneous, Finn says. Alexis asks if he wants to do it again. Finn and Alexis pulling at each other’s clothes. She points the way to the bedroom. Julian walks up to the door and looks in.

Drew asks Oscar For A Hike

Back at GH, Oscar gets a text from Drew wanting to go for a hike. Kim and Drew talk about how Drew isn’t a passivist like she believed. She says maybe a few punches is the way to handle some things. Oscar accepts that invitation and sends the article. Drew tells Oscar after their hike he wants to have dinner when him and Kim. He also has a bunch of complements to give him and not just because he is his son, but he’s a good writer too. Kim tells Drew that Oscar has several of his qualities.

Jason Tells Sam Talk About Huxley

Sam wants to know about the trip back. Jason tells her about his plans and running into the priest. He tells her about the clothes and him arranging the trip home. He tells her about Huxley (Trent Dawson), he won a watch off him in a card game. Sam says, “that was you?”

Sam and Jason talk more about Huxley. He says he was trying to cheat him at cards. He gave the money back but kept the watch. He tells her about the bar and how he gave the bartender the watch. Sam tells him the day they bought Aurora and asks when he was there, they find out it was the same day.

Jason Says They Were Lucky and Sam Says It was Fate

Jason and Sam get a text saying they have a flight in two hours. Jason says he will get his stuff and meet her in the lobby and starts to leave. Sam says they were apart for five years, they end up at the same bar holding the same watch within hours of each other. He says he guessed Huxley was right, it was lucky. Sam stand and says “or maybe Spinelli is, and it was fate.”
