General Hospital RECAP Wednesday, April 24: Dr. Bensch Bullies Kiki

On today’s General Hospital, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) show up at the PCPD to pick up Mike (Max Gail). Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) informs them there’s a problem. Ava (Maura West), in the meantime, is with Scott (Kin Shriner) who tells her she should be able to get joint custody. She tells him she wants full custody.

Michael (Chad Duell) is at the PCPD with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) for her appointment with Dr Nero (Tamara Braun) at General Hospital. Kiki (Hayley Erin) walks up to Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva) for rounds and he informs her she’s late. She tries to tell him that she is on time, he said 9 am. He tells her to put her hair up and come on.

Curtis (Donnell Turner) walks in on Jordan (Vinessa Antione) hanging up with the doctor’s office. He brings breakfast, she informs him she can’t eat and he wants to know if it has anything to do with the call.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) doesn’t understand, wants to know what’s the holdup. The judge has an issue with dementia as an excuse because of his connection to Mike (Max Gail). Diane (Caroline Hennesy) is arguing the case.

Scott (Kin Shriner) tells Ava (Maura West) that she’s asking for too much. Griffin (Matt Cohen) is listening in on the conversation. She will have to prove that Mike (Max Gail) is a threat and he will have to be put in a facility.
At General Hospital, Michael (Chad Duell) tells Nelle (Chloe Lanier) that he wanted to have Mike (Max Gail) record stories for Avery and the baby. He says he’s slipping away too fast. Nelle (Chloe Lainer) claims to want to help, then thinks about what she’s doing to Carly.

Curtis (Donnell Turner) tells Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) he is there for her. He thinks something is up, she tells him he is imagining things. Her phone rings, she doesn’t answer, he questions that.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) still at the PCPD, she tells him about her appointment with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and offers to cancel. She’s hurt and leaves.

Scott (Kin Shriner) will do whatever it takes for Ava (Maura West) to win. Griffin (Matt Cohen) wants to talk to Ava (Maura West), Scott (Kin Shriner) leaves to talk to Diane (Caroline Hennesy). Griffin (Matt Cohen) wants her to reconsider, she is just causing undo suffering to Mike (Max Gail), Sonny( Maurice Benard) and the whole family. She doesn’t give a damn about Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) suffering.

Bensch is being rude to Kiki (Hayley Erin) over a patient with a head injury. He’s trying to push her into making split second decisions that she knows nothing about.

Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) answers the phone and tells them to send medical records to GH. Curtis (Donnell Turner) questions her motives. She tells him she’s going to get the cough checked out. She tells Curtis (Donnell Turner) they found a spot on her lung.

Carly (Laura Wright) waiting on Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), she gets up to leave. He finally shows up. Carly (Laura Wright) says she’s going to go, she will still pay for the appointment. She tells him she only made the appointment for Sonny (Maurice Benard). He questions why Sonny (Maurice Benard) wants her to see him.

Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle (Chloe Lanier) still at GH waiting. Michael (Chad Duell) informs her that there is going to be a custody battle. He asks her if she has enough pull with Ava (Maura West) to talk her into joint custody. Nelle (Chloe Lanier) points out how much Sonny and Ava hate each other. She says she will see what she can do.

Curtis (Donnell Turner) wants to know about the spot. It could be nothing, she had the records sent to compare. He wants to know if its new or grown, what does that mean. She won’t tell him so he looks it up and mentions lung cancer.

Griffin (Matt Cohen) wants Ava (Maura West) to have compassion for Sonny (Maurice Benard). She whines about everything she has been tortured with. She is done with the compromises. She has the upper hand and she’s going to use it to make sure Avery stays with her permanently.

Carly (Laura Wright), still at GH with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom, he looks at her. She says he thinks she’s imagining it. He wants to explore these in further sessions. He wants her to try meds, he mentions the previous nervous breakdown. She says this isn’t one, he agrees but there is no reason why they can’t prevent it from happening again.

Griffin (Matt Cohen) and Ava (Maura West) still arguing, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is listening outside the door. He walks out on her, he asks her not to do anything until they talk more. He opens the door and finds Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Ava (Maura West) tells Nelle (Chloe Lanier) that Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) will be just as ruthless with her.

Kiki (Hayley Erin) tries to explain that she was trying to come up with exact words to explain what she would do, he’s trying to intimidate her. General Hospital’s Dr Bensch says he thought he saw potential but guessed he was wrong.

Scott (Kin Shriner) at the PCPD looking for Diane (Caroline Hennesy). Sonny (Maurice Benard) walks up to him and wants to know if he’s seen Ava (Maura West). Scott (Kin Shriner) brings up Karen (Marie Wilson), his problem is with him, not with Mike (Max Gail) or Avery. Scott (Kin Shriner) says he’s going to spend more time with Avery than he is and will tell her all about her daddy. Sonny (Maurice Benard) grabs Scott (Kin Shriner), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) separates them.

Scott (Kin Shriner) calling Sonny (Maurice Benard) a hot head. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) sends Mike (Max Gail) out with another officer. He wants Diane (Caroline Hennesy) to give him a call. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) send him off, points out that he was goading him and he knows it. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) sends Sonny (Maurice Benard) to talk to Mike (Max Gail). Sonny (Maurice Benard) asks how he is, he said he didn’t know where he was most of the night. Sonny (Maurice Benard) goes in and talks to Mike (Max Gail). He says it all came back to him, how confused Avery must be. He screwed up his life again and he’s so so sorry.

Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) talking, lung cancer is possible. Anyone can get lung cancer, especially anyone with a history. It could be nothing and if it is something she needs him to not lose it.
Bensch is berating Kiki (Hayley Erin), Griffin (Matt Cohen) overheads. Kiki (Hayley Erin) finishes his possible diagnosis for him. Griffin (Matt Cohen) asks if something happened. Kiki (Hayley Erin) walks off.
Carly (Laura Wright) asks about side effects, the meds and cause hallucinations. Michael (Chad Duell) walks up and calls to her, Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) leaves them.

Ava (Maura West) says Nelle (Chloe Lanier) should be proud of her. she says maybe Griffin (Matt Cohen) is right Ava (Maura West) wants to know why the change of heart.

Meanwhile at General Hospital Griffin (Matt Cohen) wants to know if Kiki (Hayley Erin) is ok. She tells him she doesn’t care that he’s hard on her, it’s just changed after… she trails off. Griffin (Matt Cohen) offers to be there for her Bensch sees Kiki (Hayley Erin) hugging Griffin (Matt Cohen).

General Hospital Curtis (Donnell Turner) promises no more research. Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) gives him statistic, he says she’s making a pretty big jump. Curtis (Donnell Turner) proposes.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) tells Mike (Max Gail) none of this is his fault. Mike (Max Gail) tells him he was better off without him, he would be better to forget him. The judge did not set bail, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) advises him to get Ava’s (Maura West) cooperation. Sonny (Maurice Benard) tells him the longer he is in a cell the faster he will slip away.
