General Hospital RECAP Tuesday, May 1: Griffin Shocked, Finds Out Ava Lied About Custody

The General Hospital recap begins today with Finn (Michael Easton) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) talking at General Hospital.

Alexis Meddles in Finn’s Family Affairs

Finn tells Alexis about meeting Robert. Finn and Alexis discuss family. Finn wants to take Alexis to breakfast, they agree to meet in an hour. Alexis invites Chase (Josh Swickard) to join her at the Metro Court. Chase and Finn wonder what is going on. Finn tells Alexis that this isn’t a good idea, Finn starts to walk off, Chase stops him.

Curtis Wants TJ’s Blessing

General Hospital’s Curtis (Donnell Turner) wants to talk to TJ (Tequan Richmond) alone. TJ is staying out of whatever is going on with Curtis and Jordan. Curtis tells TJ he proposed but that Jordan told him he was off the hook. Stella (Vernee Watson) comes in as TJ is giving Curtis his blessing and wants to know what TJ is giving his blessing to. Stella brings up that Jordan was his brother’s wife. Stella blames Jordan for losing Tommy. Stella doesn’t want to be a part of it.

Nelle Tells Michael She Wants Carly As the Guardian

General Hospital’s Michael (Chad Duell) thanks Nelle (Chloe Lanier) for whatever go Ava (Maura West) to agree to joint custody. Nelle tells Michael it’s important for parents to support one another even if they aren’t together. Michael tells Nelle Ava has done so much worse than she has. Nelle questions Michael’s choice of Jason as a guardian. Nelle wants Carly (Laura Wright) named as the primary guardian. Michael thanks Nelle and he agrees to make Carly the guardian.

Carly Wonder’s How Long Sonny Will Blame Her

General Hospital’s Carly takes one of her anxiety pills. Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) sees and wants to know what they are for. Carly doesn’t think Bobbie believes her either. Carly is starting to question herself. Carly tells Bobbie that she knows she held the scarf and received the calls, Carly doesn’t understand the note. Bobbie questions Carly’s stress level. Sonny (Maurice Benard) shows up at the Metro Court and Carly wants to know how long Sonny going to blame her for what happened with Avery.

Ava Tells Griffin About the Custody Agreement

General Hospital’s Ava and Griffin (Matt Cohen) talking about Avery. Ava tells Griffin that she spoke for Mike (Max Gail) and he isn’t in prison. Ava tells Griffin that Sonny agreed to shared custody. Lucy (Lynn Herring) shows up and wants to know how much she can expect from Ava for the Nurses Ball. Ava offers to write a check if Lucy will be on her way. Ava’s pen won’t write so she gets another one… Lucy tell Ava it must be nice to not have secrets threatening to come back and bite her.

Stella Gives Sonny The Cold Hard Facts

At General Hospital, Sonny meets Stella. Sonny tells Stella about Mike thinking Avery was his sister. Stella tells Sonny eventually he will have to hire professionals to take care of Mike around the clock or send Mike to a home. Stella tells Sonny how bad it will eventually get with Mike’s care. Sonny tells Stella about having to send Michael away before. Sonny won’t do that with Mike. Stella offers to put together a list of nurses looking for in home work.

Dante And Jordan Discuss Marriage

Dante tells Jordan that Lulu (Emme Rylan) knows something but isn’t talking. Dante wants to know if Jordan wants to talk. Jordan tells Dante she doesn’t want to screw up another marriage. Dante encourages her to consider it.

Griffin Learns The Whole Truth

At General Hospital, Sonny meets Griffin and tells Griffin that he’s found Mike another doctor. Griffin wants to know why. Sonny brings up Ava and Griffin mentions the compromise. Sonny asks if that’s what Ava told him. Sonny tells Griffin that Ava threatened to send Mike to prison. Sonny changes his mind about the records and tells Griffin that he can see that Griffin is starting to see Ava how she really is. Griffin later meets Ava and tells Ava she lied to him.
