General Hospital Recap Tuesday, August  28: Oscar In Trouble, Ryan Escapes

General Hospital’s Tuesday August 28 episode recap kicks off with Jason (Steve Burton) showing up at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard).

Sonny Is Afraid To Lose His Dad

Carly (Laura Wright)  is eating breakfast.  Jason wanted to check on Sonny and Mike (Max Gail). Carly is concerned about how this could have ended. Sonny has Carly has cleared her schedule to go with Sonny.  Felix (Marc Samuel) hasn’t arrived yet.  Jason offers to stay with Mike.  Jason doesn’t care to hang out with Oscar (Garren Stitt).  Sonny isn’t sure about the facilities, but Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Jocelyn (Eden McCoy) deserve a safe home.

Sonny had anger toward Mike for so long because he felt abandoned. Sonny is enjoying these memories but is afraid after last night. Sonny sees the good in Mike but says he knows Mike is slipping away. Sonny is terrified of losing Mike.  Carly tells Sonny that she loves Mike, but he’s not her dad. Sonny tells Carly he had a hard to without her there.  Carly thinks Sonny should ask Jason if he can’t make this decision.  Sonny says, whatever happens, is on him.

Nelle Wants Kim’s Help

General Hospital’s Lucas (Ryan Carnes) is meeting with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Alexis wants to know when she can expect Brad. Michael (Chad Duell) overhears their conversation about the baby.  Michael walks up and talks to Alexis and Lucas.  Michael thinks Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas are great parents. Kim (Tamara Braun) approaches Michael.  Michael and Kim talk about Jocelyn.  Kim tells Michael she heard from Nelle (Chloe Lanier).  Nelle wanted Kim to testify that her hormones caused her to commit crimes. Michael goes by a bereavement meeting but leaves.

Madeline Is Dead

General Hospital’s Curtis (Donnell Turner) is meeting with Valentin (Jason Patrick Stuart).  Nina (Michelle Stafford) sees Curtis and wonders what he’s doing.  Nina is trying to pull information out of Curtis.  Valentin apologizes for Madeline (Donna Mills) Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) shows up to meet Nina.  Diane tells Nina that Valentin’s lawyer changed the divorced papers.

Curtis tells Valentin the lawyer is in prison.  Curtis wants to bring Nina in on this.  Valentin refuses, he wants to protect Nina.  Nina seems Valentin and Curtis together. Nina isn’t happy with Valentin and his changes. Nina tells Valentin she won’t be able to get over this. Nina gets a phone call. Madeline is dead, Valentin supports her.

Lulu Delivers Bad News

General Hospital’s Lulu (Emme Rylan) meets Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) in the park.  Lulu tells them about the Ryan Chamberlain (John Lindstrom) feature.  Maxie remembers meeting Ryan in Texas.  Maxie wants to know if Lulu said the Invader staff about Felicia.  Lulu doesn’t want anything to do with the story.  Lulu can’t kill the story either.

Felicia is talking about Ryan.  Felicia didn’t recognize Ryan because she blocked it out. Felicia remembered who Ryan was and that’s what saved her. Maxie tries to calm Felicia down.  Felicia hates that Ryan destroyed so many lives.  Lulu and Maxie question how Felicia became friends with Kevin.  Felicia and Maxie talk about Ryan kidnapping Georgie (Lindze Letherman). Felicia still has nightmares over Ryan. Felicia takes James to see the ducks. Lulu tells Maxie The Invader isn’t the only outlet interested.

Ryan Knocks Out Kevin

General Hospital’s Ryan tries to get the orderly to remove the straight jacket.  The patient says they both know he doesn’t belong there.  Ryan claims he is Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and his twin got the drop on him and changed places.  The straight jacket is very loose. Ryan gets the jacket loose just as Kevin comes in. Kevin accuses Ryan of claiming to be him again.  Ryan talks about Kevin holding him captive.

Kevin says Ryan likes who he is.  Ryan says Kevin wants to control him.  Kevin believes Ryan can heal.  Ryan wants to know why he would cooperate with Kevin. Ryan pushes Kevin to set him free.  Ryan gets out of the jacket and goes after Kevin.

Oscar Goes Into A Seizure

General Hospital’s Oscar is talking to Kim.  Today is Oscar and Jocelyn’s anniversary.  Oscar will be home after dinner. Jason tells Oscar to listen to Jocelyn and give her advice if she asks for it.  Oscar goes into a full-blown seizure, Jason tries to help.

The Birth Mother Doesn’t Show

General Hospital’s Julian (William DeVry) tells Brad he talked to the birth mother.  Julian explained that that baby would be better off with Lucas and Brad.  Julian went to great pains to make sure the birth mother believe’s Brad and Lucas know nothing.  Brad wants to take the baby and run.  Lucas wants to know what Julian and Brad are hiding. Alexis tells Julian to leave before he causes damage.

Brad and Lucas talk about running away. Lucas tells him they can’t run.  Julian wants to be here for Lucas.  Brad tells Alexis the judge is about to come in.  Lucas asks if everything is ok.  Diane shows up without the birth mother. Alexis asks where the birth mother is.
