General Hospital Recap Thursday, October 4: Ryan Encourages Ava’s Revenge, Griffin And Kiki Heat Up

General Hospital’s Thursday October 4 recap begins with Carly (Laura Wright) telling Jason (Steve Burton) that Avery (Ava and Graces Scarola) and Mike (Max Gail) are having a tea party.  Carly thinks Mike should tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) what he remembers.

Carly And Ava Clash

Ava (Maura West) shows up at Sonny’s to get Avery.  Ava tries to interrupt Mike and Avery’s tea party. Ava and Jason spar before he leaves her alone with Carly. Carly tells Ava it must be heard having everyone know Griffin (Matt Cohen) dumped her for Kiki (Hayley Erin).

Ava starts to leave demanding Avery at the regular time tomorrow.  Carly tells Ava that Avery will be with her family tomorrow.  Ava says the custody arrangement if very clear.  Carly tells Ava to take it to court, tomorrow is Morgan’s (ex-Bryan Craig) memorial, and Avery is going to be there.  Carly throws Ava out of the house.

Nina Gives Maxie Her News

General Hospital’s Nina (Michelle Stafford) tells Maxie (Kirstin Storms)  that her child is alive.  Nina tells Maxie that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) told her about the baby.  Maxie argues that Valentin could be lying.  Nina assures Maxie that Curtis (Donnell Turner) found her daughter and has met her. Nina isn’t going to meet her daughter.  Maxie accuses Nina of being afraid of rejection with her daughter.

Jason Visits Danny

General Hospital’s   Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) comes downstairs looking for coffee.  Jason comes to see Danny (T.K. Weaver).  Kristina thanks Jason for saving her life again, telling them to make use of the privacy. Danny arrives home and sees Jason.  Jason goes over Danny’s book on families with him. Danny asks Jason if he loves Sam (Kelly Monaco).

Finn’s Dad Isn’t Terminal

General Hospital’s  Gregory (James Read) is with Finn (Michael Easton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) at the hospital.  Gregory talks about Finn not wanting to get his hands dirty as a kid.  Finn admits he doesn’t hate his father.  Finn doesn’t believe his father’s illness is life-threatening.

Gregory wants to have dinner with Finn and Chase.  Finn refuses to eat with them.  Finn comes back to Gregory’s room; Chase has gone for coffee.  Gregory tells Finn that he likes Anna (Finola Hughes). Gregory compares losing Finn’s mom to Finn losing his wife.  Gregory wants Finn’s forgiveness for moving on with his life. Chase demands to know what Finn’s problem is, Gregory tells Chase to figure it out.

Nina Ask Peter’s Advice

General Hospital’s  Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Griffin are at the gym.  Griffin tells Peter he got suspended over the DNA test.  Peter tells Griffin he never found closure, just regret. Peter offers Griffin a job as a medical editor. Peter shows up at Crimson and Nina asks his opinion on meeting her daughter.

Maxie rewords Nina’s question to Peter.  Peter tells Nina if the parent wants to offer love to a child, she should at least try.  Peter believes the mother would at least know she offered to help.  Maxie walks Peter out and tells him he said the right thing. Maxie tells Peter he doesn’t have to run every time he sees her. Nina calls Sasha and asks to meet her.

Felicia Wants To Issue A Press Release

General Hospital’s Felicia (Kristina Wagner) has been dying for time with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom); she doesn’t realize she’s with Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) instead. Felicia wants to talk about Ryan. Felicia brings up Kevin’s breakdown.  Felicia wants her and Kevin to issue a joint statement about Ryan.  Ryan suggests they guide the investigation. Felicia and Ryan agree to text later to meet up and write their press release.

Ava shows up at Kevin’s office; she needs to talk.  Ava talks about trying to change and still being to blame for her past. Ava tells Ryan about Kiki and Griffin. Ava tells Ryan she is filled with rage and needs Kiki and Griffin to hate her as she does them.  Ava asks how to fight her need for revenge. Ryan tells Ava that he hears fear and not anger.  Ryan tells Ava her anger is a force field she is using to protect herself.

Ava tells Ryan about her dream about Avery. Ava tells Ryan that Avery sees her as ugly and scarred.  Ava asks if this dream means that she will never escape her past. Ava says she has to let Kiki and Griffen get on with their lives.  Ava thinks she owes Griffin because he saved her life.  Ava questions if Kevin is going to lecture her on her morals.  Ava makes another appointment with Ryan.

Kiki And Griffin Begin Their Relationship

General Hospital’s Griffin and Kiki talk at the gym.  Kiki tells Griffin she enjoyed sleeping with him.  Kiki wants to be with him again right now. Kiki and Griffin kiss after he agrees not to apologize.
