General Hospital Recap Thursday, November 1: Carly Discovers Mary Pat – Laura’s Campaign Gains Momentum

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, November 1, 2018 reveals, Laura (Genie Frances) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) join Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) at the Floating Rib. Ryan wants funds for mental health and Laura as mayor.

The Fundraiser Becomes A Crime Scene

Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and Chase (Josh Swickard) arrive and get a drink. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrives and speaks to Laura about her watch. Lulu (Emme Rylan) speaks to Laura; she’s raising money for mental help not campaigning. Ned (Wally Kurth) claims to be focusing on mental health now that business is booming. Carly (Laura Wright) wants to talk about Ferncliff.

Ned agrees that the city needs to take a more active role in Ferncliff’s management. Ned invites Laura and Carly to be on a special tasks force. Laura is climbing in the polls, and Ryan encourages her saying anything can happen. Ned is worried about Laura’s performance. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) tells Ned Laura doesn’t have time to beat him in the election. Laura starts the games at the fundraiser. Laura asks Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) to start things off, but he tells her he has to leave. Carly buys a chance at the apple bobbing. Carly starts to go for an apple and Mary Pat’s (Patricia Bethune) head floats to the top of the barrel.

Michael And Chase Encourage Each Other

General Hospital’s Michael (Chad Duell) joins Carly at the Floating Rib as well. Michael tells Carly he has taken a step in the right direction. Michael tells Carly about the meeting at the hospital and how he has to deal with it alone. Michael goes to get a drink. Michael goes outside, Chase joins him and asks how he is. Michael tells Chase he still wonders what would happen if Nelle (Chloe Lanier) had delivered the baby in a hospital. Chase tells Michael his mind is playing tricks on him. Chase and Michael both agree they need to make peace with this.

Carly Gives Ava A Warning

General Hospital’s Ava (Maura West) approaches Carly. Carly says she will hash this out with Ava. Ava says he has to hand it to Carly forcing Michael to forgive the man who murdered his father. Carly tells Ava she should be glad Sonny saved her. Carly also tells Ava that she’s the reason Connie (Kelly Sullivan) is dead, she claims she’s exonerated.

Carly tells Ava she killed Morgan (Bryan Craig) as well. Ava says Olivia (Tonja Walker) killed Morgan. Carly warns Ava that she is coming for her. Carly later approaches Kevin who rudely tells her to back off about the Ferncliff patient next to her. Ryan apologizes to Carly and tells her he checked into the patient next to her, but it is illegal for him to share that information with her. Ryan joins Ava for a drink and tells her Morgan’s death isn’t her fault.

Jocelyn And Cameron Find Evidence

General Hospital’s Jocelyn (Eden McCoy) and Cameron (William Lipton) dress up as Princess Leia and Hans Solo for Halloween. Jocelyn wants to post a selfie so Oscar (Garren Stitt) can see she and Cameron are doing things together. Cameron sprays Jocelyn with silly string. Jocelyn vows to get revenge. Cameron and Jocelyn take a selfie and post it. Cameron finds Mary Pat’s I.D. on the pier.

Drew Tries To Trick Oscar

General Hospital’s Drew (Billy Miller) goes to see Oscar at Charlie’s’. Drew wants to see if Oscar is ok, he tries to blow him off. Drew wants to know where Oscar is staying since he has no money for rent. Drew doesn’t want to involve the cops but he wants to know that Oscar is ok. Drew has an update on the trial; Oscar doesn’t want to hear it.

Drew tells Oscar they still have time to hit the road. Drew wants Oscar to go to Florida with him. Drew tells Oscar the little moments are special. Oscar tells Drew he knows he cannot leave town for a month because of the lawsuit. Drew tells Oscar he isn’t’ ready to let him go. Oscar tells Drew he has to fight. Drew wishes Oscar Happy Halloween and tells him they could still make the Kilimanjaro trip. Oscar tells him that’s in February and he might not live that long.

Kim Accuses Julian Of Siding With Alexis

General Hospital’s Julian (William DeVry) tells Kim (Tamara Braun) he couldn’t convince Alexis to drop Oscar’s case. Kim says she can’t see how Alexis could take this case because she’s a mother. Julian tells Kim that Alexis feels that Oscar should have a say in his medical treatment. Kim says Julian believes that too and that’s why he couldn’t convince Alexis to drop it. Julian asks Kim if the trial doesn’t work, is she not wasting precious time with her son. Kim tells Julian she knows the trial will work and it could buy Oscar enough time for a cure. Kim is not giving up on Oscar taking this treatment.

Nina Pulls Away From Valentin

General Hospital’s Nina (Michelle Stafford) tells Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to call the launch while she gets dressed, she’s not staying the night. It begins to rain again, and Nina has to stay. Nina accuses Valentin of orchestrating a power outage. Valentin tells Nina he can’t control the weather and didn’t cause the outage, Nina wants to know how she can believe him.

Valentin asks Nina if she’s ever made her feel like she didn’t mean the world to him. Nina tells Valentin he is using this to his advantage. Valentin tells Nina he will never give up trying to convince her to come back to him. Valentin and Nina kiss. Nina tells Valentin that kiss was a mistake, what if Charlotte (Scarlette Fernandez) walked in and saw them. Nina tells Valentin she can’t let him in because he will only hurt her again. Valentin goes to take candles to a guest bedroom for Nina. Nina falls asleep on the couch, Valentin covers her up.

Kevin Is Annoyed With Mac

General Hospital’s Curtis (Donnell Turner) arrives, he and Jordan plan to leave shortly. Mac (John J. York) shows up with Halloween costumes as well. “Kevin” doesn’t feel up to dressing up tonight and their costumes could cause problems in this day and time. Mac says they need to kill the broads off, Ryan agrees.
