General Hospital RECAP Thursday, May 17: Sam Finds Faison’s Lighter On Peter’s Desk

“General Hospital” (GH) recap for Thursday, May 17, 2018, Lulu (Emme Rylan) tells Peter (Wes Ramsey) that she is working with Anna (Finola Hughes) to find Heinrik (Wes Ramsey). Peter puts it together that Anna is pretending to be his mother.

Lulu Puts Anna In Danger

Meanwhile, Nina (Michelle Stafford) tells Maxie (Kirsten Storms) to contact someone about the fall shoot before she leaves tomorrow on vacation. Peter goes to confront Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) about the trip he’s planning with Nina. Peter knows Anna is setting him up and Valentin is aware of it. Valentin tries to talk Peter down, but he vows to take care of Anna himself.

Maxie Is Nervous And Upset

Kim (Tamara Braun) shows up and joins Julian (William De Vry), they discuss surprises at the Nurse’s Ball. Later, Julian goes to get drinks while Maxie talks to Kim, the baby has been very active and she is worried. Maxie tells Peter the baby is fine but she has a rough time after watching Curtis (Donnell Turner) propose and leaves. Peter goes after Maxie. Peter gives Maxie a handkerchief and she tells him Nathan (Ryan Paevey) did the same the first time they met. Peter and Maxie go back inside.

Emma Misses Texting With Finn

Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) has been helping backstage. Emma tells Anna to watch or Robin (Kimberly McCullough) will take her phone. Anna tells her she is looking for Robert (Tristan Rogers). Robin doesn’t believe her, she is looking for Finn (Michael Easton) or Heinrik. Emma wants to know why Finn doesn’t text her anymore. Anna tells Emma that she knows how to text now.

The Nurses Perform The Opening Act

The opening act begins with Epiphany (Sonya Eddy), Felix (Mark Samuel), Bobbie (Jackie Zeman), Amy (Risa Dorken) and the rest of the nurses join, they are performing “Everyday People”.

Jordan Advises Dante To Follow Chase’s Example

Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) tells Chase (Josh Swickard) she is glad to see him there. Chase tells Jordan he is performing but the others didn’t want to practice together. Jordan looks confused, then Chase goes to talk to Lulu, he wants to know if Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is nervous. Lulu questions Dante about the performance and Dante goes backstage and talks to Chase. Chase is a good singer and even Finn smiles at his performance. Afterward, Dante tells Chase he really pulled it out even if he was tricked, Jordan encourages Dante to take a page out of Chase’s book next year.

Stella Is Not Pleased

Stella (Vernee Watson) runs into Curtis and tells him she won’t bother him and Jordan tonight. Stella tells Curtis she is there with Mike. Later, after Curtis’ magic act begins, Stella wants Jordan cut in half. Stella isn’t happy but Mike (Max Gail) tells her all that really matters is love. Stella tells Mike that he is a charmer, Mike tells her Sonny (Maurice Benard) has him beat.

Bobbie Defends Carly To Sonny

Mike wants to know where Carly (Laura Wright) is again. Bobbie tells Sonny that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) baited Carly the whole time and she knows Nelle wasn’t pushed.
Molly Attempts To Present The Pioneer Award
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) comes up and startles Sam (Kelly Monaco), she is nervous about the award presentation which Lucy (Lynn Herring) wants to move up because Mac (John J. York) can’t make it. Finn is nowhere to be found so Molly (Haley Pullos) is going to present it. Molly begins her speech about her mom and introduces Alexis who doesn’t walk out on stage.

Peter Sets His Plan In Motion

Peter watches Anna intensely. Peter sends Anna a text to meet him at midnight on Pier 55.

Curtis Proposes To Jordan

Nina and Curtis perform a magic act. Jordan is pulled up on stage. Stella mumbles to Mike that maybe he will saw her in half. Curtis pulls out a ring and proposes on stage, Jordan is stunned, but then accepts. Robin joins Sonny and they discuss Stone and Mike along with Carly. Sonny and Robin speak to Lulu and Dante. Sonny ribs Dante about being jealous of Chase.

Finn Still Has Feelings For Anna

Finn goes to talk to Anna, they can’t keep doing this. Alexis is waiting to be introduced and overhears Finn and Anna talking. Finn believes Anna is dying and pushing him away. Anna thought he found out about Heinrik. Finn tells Anna he still cares about her, she is never far from his heart, his mind and wants her to know how much he cares about her.

Sam Finds The Lighter On Peter’s Desk

Sam makes her way to Peter’s office and remembers her conversation with Curtis, she wants to know what Peter is hiding. Sam is still looking when someone comes to the door. A janitor shows up in Peter’s office, Sam tells him to come back later. Sam finds Faison’s (Anders Hove) lighter.
