General Hospital RECAP Thursday, June 28: Michael And Nelle Engaged, Ava’s New Partner In Crime

“General Hospital” (GH) recap for Thursday, June 28, 2018, kicks off with Chase (Josh Swickard) spotting Sam (Kelly Monaco) at the gym, he leaves to go to work.

Jason And Sam Team Up

Jason (Steve Burton) comes in and Sam agrees to spot for him. Jason tells Sam about working at Ferncliff until Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) got him fired. Sam tells Jason she is surprised Kevin turned him in. Jason tells Sam that Kevin was trying to protect Carly (Laura Wright).

Jason tells Sam that he went there to talk Carly down. Jason tells Sam that sooner or later Carly will fight back. Jason tells Sam how bad Ferncliff is. Carly could end up trapping herself there longer. Sam tells Jason she knows he can’t let that happen, he agrees.

Jason reveals they have some leads but he might have to break Carly out. Jason says he and Carly will go to Canada, Sam tells him running will make things worse. Sam tells Jason he will end up in Pentonville and Carly will go back to Ferncliff if they run.

Sam tells Jason if Carly won’t think for herself, he has to think for her. Jason says they are looking for that scarf. Sam thinks Nelle probably destroyed that.

Jason mentions the blanket and the break-in as well as the flyer. Sam wants to know what happened to the flyer, Jason doesn’t know. Sam thinks she might know what happened and mentions disappearing ink. Sam finds the flyer and she and Jason decide to get their hands on it.

Liz And Drew Discuss Her Wedding

General Hospital’s Drew (Billy Miller) shows up at Liz’s (Rebecca Herbst) and tells her he got the wedding invitation. Drew doesn’t understand why Franco (Roger Howarth) wants him at the wedding. Drew finds out Liz invited him and wants to make sure Franco is ok.

Drew is afraid of being a dark cloud over Franco’s wedding. Liz tells Drew that Franco considers him a friend. Liz tells Drew he needs to make his own memories and not carry the burden of Jason’s past.   Liz and Drew talk more about Jason and his memories.

Franco And Ava Plot Revenge

General Hospital’s Franco and Ava (Maura West) talk about ways to get rid of Bensch (James DePaiva). Ava is giving Franco ideas of how to kill Bensch. Franco mentions a vat of acid. Ava thinks Julian (William DeVry) may have connections.

Finn (Michael Easton) tries to contact Anna (Finola Hughes) before coming in and asks Franco if he likes it bloody. Finn is getting food from Charlie’s and wants Franco’s order. Ava wants Franco to talk to Finn about infectious diseases in the lab.

Franco tells Ava they cannot really kill Bensch. Franco tells Ava to let Kiki have her day in court. Ava demands Franco help her take care of Bensch. Franco promises Ava if the law fails Kiki, they won’t.

Ava argues that her way is faster. Scott (Kin Shriner) tells Franco and Ava that Bensch asks him to represent him, they want to know if he refused. Scott says he accepted at first but changed his mind. Franco and Ava want Scott to take the case and tank it. Scott goes back to talk to Bensch.

Alexis Tells Bensch To Hire An Attorney

General Hospital’s Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tells Kiki (Hayley Erin) she is going to file the suit. Alexis needs to get Francesca’s (Celeste DeAstis) deposition and canvas the hospital for witnesses. Bensch walks in as Kiki and Alexis talk.

Alexis informs Bensch of the lawsuit and tells him to lawyer up. Finn walks in and talks to Alexis who is still a bit mad at him. Finn tells Alexis their breakup was his fault. Alexis tells Finn this is about her and why bad men are drawn to her. Alexis thanks Finn for being a jerk. Alexis and Finn go their separate ways .

Dante Joins The WSB

General Hospital’s Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) relives saving Lulu (Emme Rylan) from the water two years ago. Dante receives a call, he asks how much time he has. Dante calls Lulu to come home, she wants to know what’s wrong. Dante tells Lulu this is a good thing.

Dante tells Lulu he is helping the WSB go after the guy who tried to kill her and he’s leaving tonight. Lulu wants to know why Dante joined the WSB. Dante explains the weapons and her attempted murder. Lulu doesn’t see why Dante has to be a part of this. Dante explains that he is good at undercover work.

Dante plans to work for the security company and get an in with the dealer. Dante doesn’t want to leave Lulu and the kids but this is a way for him to make a change. Dante understand what Lulu has been telling him this whole time.

Lulu says this is happening really fast and asks Dante how much time they have. Lulu and Dante begin to kiss. Dante calls Chase to his place. Dante wants to make sure Chase will look out for Michael (Chad Duell) because he’s leaving town.

Chase tells Dante he will look after Michael and wishes him safe travels. Dante packs to leave and tells Lulu he will call his mom from the car. Lulu tells Dante she will tells the kids he’s doing important work and they should be proud of him. Dante thanks Lulu for believing in him, the kiss and he leaves. Flashbacks of Dante and Lulu playing pool at Jake’s are shown.

Michael And Nelle Get Engaged

General Hospital’s Michael proposes to Nelle (Chloe Lanier), she’s is stunned and questions if he means it. Nelle thinks this is very fast and they aren’t in a relationship. Michael asks if Nelle is turning him down. Michael says Chase threatening her opened his eyes.

Michael says he and Nelle had something once and maybe they can get that back. Nelle asks Michael if he still loves her. Michael tells Nelle he loves her and always has. Michael pulls Nelle into a kiss and she accepts his proposal. Michael and Nelle show up at the PCPD to see Dante and run into Chase. Michael and Nelle tell Chase they are getting married.

Scott Has Second Thoughts

General Hospital’s Bensch approaches Scott about his case. Bensch needs to be vindicated and might make them rich men. Bensch tells Scott how GH has done nothing to clear his name. Scott says they can counter sue Kiki, sue GH and the Port Charles Press. Scott claims to be too busy and turns him down at first.
