General Hospital Recap Thursday, February 22: Peter Has Drew’s Memories, Feels Remorse

The General Hospital recap for Thursday, February 22 reveals Nelle Benson (Chole Lanier) assures Ava Jerome (Maura West) of her plans to move into the Quartermaine mansion and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) demise.   Ava warns her not to be overconfident.

Mike Diagnosed With Alzheimer’s

General Hospital Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Mike Corbin (Max Gail) wait for Dr. Griffin Munro’s (Matt Cohen) diagnosis. Griffin informs them Mike is suffering from Alzheimer’s.  Mike refuses to believe it saying, Sonny wants him to be sick as payback for deserting him as a child.  Sonny is devastated as Mike leaves. Mike turns up at Ava’s gallery believing it to be Luke’s place, demands to see General Hospital Luke Spencer (Anthony Gerry) and destroys some art pieces.  Ava calls the police as a confused Mike runs off.

Maxie Shows Up At Work

At Crimson Magazine, As Carly Corinthos assures Nina Cassadine (Michele Stafford) she will have the blood-stained carpet cleaned; they are both surprised to see Maxie West (Kirsten Storms) at the door. Maxie tells Nina she needs to come back to work.  Nina tries to dissuade her, but Maxie insists.

Nina Decides To Be Maxie’s Pregnancy Coach

Later Maxie becomes upset when she receives a notification about childbirth classes and Nina offers to go with her.  As the two ladies enter the class, they notice Nelle and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are also part of the class.  Nelle and Maxie trade jabs with each other causing Nelle and Michael to leave class.  Outside, Nelle’s plans continue as she sends Carly another unknown call with the sounds of an explosion.

Brad and Lucas Decide On Open Adoption

General Hospital Brad Cooper (Perry Shen) discusses his and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) plans for an open adoption with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), however, General Hospital spoilers tease that it may expose their ties to Julian Jerome (William DeVry). Brad and Lucas decide to go ahead with the adoption. General Hospital sources also hint trouble ahead for the expectant parents.

Sam Fears For Drew

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) goes to see Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) at Aurora Media to ask her to print an article about the stipulations in Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) will; hoping to draw out Henrick Faison (Wes Ramsey) and the flash drive.  Sam is frightened for Drew and pleads with Jason not to pursue it. She tells a surprised Peter what is in the will as Jason agrees with Sam and decides against the article.  Peter, looking remorseful, knows he has the flash drive that contains Drews memories.
