General Hospital RECAP Thursday, August 23: Cassandra Is Awake

General Hospital’s Thursday August 23 recap kicks off with  Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton) playing pool.

Carly Warns Jason About Julian

Carly and Jason toast Jonah.  Michael (Chad Duell) and Jocelyn (Eden McCoy) are out on the boat.  Sonny and Mike are with Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola).  Carly and Jason talk about when they first met. Carly tells Jason about Julian (William DeVry) working Mike (Max Gail).  Carly tells Jason he needs to be careful with Julian.

Carly tells Jason that Julian will exploit this.  Carly tells Jason waiting will make matters worse.  Carly is grateful to Kevin (Jon Lindstrom).  Kevin looked out for her.  Carly tells Jason that Kevin wants her in therapy.  Jason doesn’t trust Kevin. Carly tells Jason about her neighbor.  Jason tells Carly there are some sick people there.  Carly trusts Kevin, he has her best interest at heart.

Cameron Throws Franco’s Past In His Face

General Hospital’s Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) are talking at the hospital.  Franco is on a secret mission.  Liz gives Franco instructions.  Kiki (Hayley Erin) joins Liz and Franco.  Franco is taking the boys school shopping.  Franco takes the boys for pretzels and soda. Cameron (William Lipton) wants to go to the carnival.  Franco wants to work on the list first.  Aiden (Jason David) wants pencils with princesses on them.  Cameron berates Aiden for his chooses.

Jake (Hudson West) tells Cameron how bad he hurt Aiden’s feelings.  Franco tells Aiden a story. Franco tells Aiden that people can like what they like. Aiden doesn’t want his pencils anymore.  Cameron apologizes to Aiden.  Franco decides to order stuff online.  Franco and Cameron have words.  Cameron brings up the people Franco killed.  Franco tells Cameron if he wants info to search public records.

Finn Joins Robert

General Hospital’s Robert (Tristan Rogers) is at the PCPD to see Jordan (Vinessa Antoine).  Robert is on the phone demanding updates on Cassandra (Jessica Tuck).  Robert shows Jordan the map of Anna’s (Finola Hughes) last location.  Chase (Josh Swickard) is furious that he wasn’t informed about Finn (Michael Easton).  Chase wants to be involved.  Chase is driven, if Finn dies he won’t get a chance to know him.  Robert lets Chase in but he has to listen.

Finn Offers To Help Cassandra If She Cooperates

General Hospital’s Finn and Anna are with Cassandra.  Finn says he cannot save this patient.  Finn doesn’t want to save Cassandra.  Finn gets masks for everyone. Finn tells this virus has mutated.  Finn isn’t sure he can save any of them.  Finn gives the captors a list of things he needs.  The captors think Finn is lying, but they go anyway.   Finn needs to make it look like Cassandra is making progress.

Finn starts to give Cassandra a shot.  Anna tries to get him to wait.  Finn tells Anna she is very demanding. Anna wants odd on Cassandra waking up.  Cassandra wakes up. Anna tells Cassandra they all three need to work together.  Anna tells Cassandra she was in a coma for 8 months.  Anna wants Cassandra to pretend to be unconscious.

Lucy And Kevin Clash

General Hospital’s  Lucy (Lynn Herring)  goes up to what she thinks is Kevin.  Kevin doesn’t seem to recognize her.  Someone is screaming that looks like Kevin, he says he’s not supposed to be there.  Today is Kevin’s birthday.  Lucy says Laura forgot his birthday.  Kevin asks for another drink.  Kevin tells Lucy he hasn’t thought about his birthday.

The one at Ferncliff says a dangerous man is on the loose.  The orderly asks if there is anything he can do to help.  Kevin wants Lucy to butt out.  Kevin upsets Lucy and she leaves.  Kevin thanks Jason for saving Carly.  Kevin tells Carly her neighbor is getting the best care possible.  The full Ferncliff staff has been replaced.  Carly apologizes to Kevin. Lucy brings Kevin a cupcake and apologizes. Laura calls Kevin to wish him a happy birthday.  Kevin goes back to Ferncliff and brings the other one a cupcake.

Bensch Threatens Kiki And GH

Bensch (James DePaiva) berates Kiki.  Bensch is called to Monica’s (Leslie Charleston) office.  Bensch tells Kiki to get ready to pay him back. Kiki doesn’t understand how Bensch is still working there.  Kiki and Liz talk about Griffin being suspended.  Liz says none of the nurses will help Bensch.  Monica fires Bensch. Bensch says he’s suing Kiki and G.H.
