Alexis tells Laura it is too late to get her name on the ballot. Laura wants to do a write-in campaign. Alexis says it seems like Laura has made up her mind. Laura beings up the nastiness of the campaign, Alexis says that is unavoidable. Alexis tells Laura that Ned adapts to the pitfalls of politics instead of regretting them. Alexis is sick of politician who doesn’t stand for anything and encouraged Laura to run. Laura tells Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) she can’t give Ned (Wally Kurth) her support.
Laura tells Carly she is running against Ned. Carly tells Laura people will be thrilled she is running again. Carly tells Laura that social services are slipping through the cracks. Carly asks what Kevin has told her about Ferncliff. Laura is appalled by Carly’s treatment at Ferncliff. Carly tells Laura about the patient next to her. Laura offers to help Carly. Laura wants to take a tour of Ferncliff with Carly. Carly tells Laura she will go with her.
General Hospital’s Olivia takes Leo to see Julian (William DeVry) and wonders if he is in trouble. Julian starts to talk about how short life is etc. Olivia asks if he’s sick or has a hit on him. Julian denies both, and she demands to know why he insisted on seeing Leo today. Olivia thinks Julian is having a mid-life crisis. Olivia tells Julian he is a better man now and to stay alive. Olivia tells Julian he has a good thing going with Kim and not to blow it. Oscar (Garren Stitt) stops by and asks Julian for a job.
Kim (Tamara Braun) is upset that Julian gave Oscar a job. Kim tells Julian that Oscar wants to make his own decisions and that’s why he wanted a job. Kim tells Julian that Oscar’s life is at stake. Julian comforts Kim. Julian tells Kim he can call Oscar and resend his offer. Kim tells Julian not to because at least she trusts him, Oscar would go somewhere else. Kim asks Julian to talk to Alexis.

General Hospital’s Cameron (William Lipton) sneaks Oscar out of the house and agrees to meet him in the park. Oscar asks if Cameron brought food. Oscar demands to know why Cameron is spending so much time with Jocelyn (Eden McCoy). Cameron tells Oscar that he is Jocelyn’s friend and doesn’t insist on hurting her unlike him. Oscar wants Jocelyn to move on but not with Cameron.
Cameron tells Oscar that he doesn’t get a say in what Jocelyn does. Oscar doesn’t like how this is happening. Cameron says Oscar can stay another night, but he could get grounded for hiding him, so he needs to come up with better arrangements. Cameron comes home, and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) offers to make him breakfast. Cameron eats breakfast and goes upstairs. Cameron tells Liz he loves her.
General Hospital’s Carly stops by and needs to speak to Liz about Cameron and Jocelyn. Liz asks if Cameron has done something they should know about now. Carly tells Liz that Cameron and Jocelyn are spending a lot of time together. Carly asks if Franco gave Liz her message. Carly tells Liz if she has something against Jocelyn to come to her. Carly expects Jocelyn treated with courtesy and she will do that same with Cameron. Carly is fine with them spending time together; she wants to make sure she and Liz are on the same page. Cameron comes home, and Liz questions him about Jocelyn. Liz asks him about Oscar and Cameron tells her he and Jocelyn are just friends.
General Hospital’s Drew (Billy Miller) meets with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy)about Oscar’s lawsuit. Diane is going to try to stop Oscar from winning the right to make his own medical decisions. Drew tells Curtis (Donnell Turner) that he can’t be his best man. Drew tells Curtis that Oscar is sick and may not make it. Drew explains that Oscar wants his privacy. Curtis offers to look for Oscar if Drew needs him to, Drew says to wait until the end of the day, he will call if he needs him. Drew goes to Diane’s office after Curtis offers to pray for Drew. Drew confronts Alexis over representing Oscar.
Alexis tells Drew that Oscar is threatening to go to Scott if she doesn’t take the case. Drew says it won’t make different how she tries to protect him if he’s dead in three months because he turned down this trial. Drew is determined to fit Alexis all the way to the surprise court. Diane believes it is his parent’s role to make this decision. Diane tells Alexis she is going to fight with everything she has. Alexis expects nothing less and believes Oscar will change his mind if given a choice. Diane joins Drew outside and thanks him for waiting. Diane believes the judge will drop this case. Oscar tells Alexis he got a job.
General Hospital’s Kim shows up at Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) and needs her help to save Oscar’s life. Kim tells Sam about the drug trial and that Oscar refuses to participate. Kim tells Sam that Oscar hired an attorney. Sam doesn’t know what kind of attorney would take this on, Kim tells her Alexis. Kim tells Sam that Oscar didn’t come home last night and won’t contact her. Kim tells Sam what could happen to Oscar. Kim tells Sam she tried to talk to Alexis and didn’t handle it very well. Kim wants Sam to talk to Alexis.
Sam isn’t sure that she should get involved. Sam doesn’t blame him if it could leave him brain dead. Sam asks if Oscar understand this is his risk to take. Kim thought Sam would understand. Sam tells Kim about Jason’s decision years ago. Sam understand that Oscar wants to live on his terms just like Jason did. Kim doesn’t understand why Sam won’t help her. Sam thinks Oscar wants the right to decide for himself. Kim needs Sam to help save her son by talking to Alexis. Sam says there is nothing she could say to change Alexis’ mind. Sam tells Kim she doesn’t have that kind of influence over Alexis. Sam tells Kim there is one person who has that kind of influence over Alexis.
