General Hospital RECAP October 18: Alexis Considers Oscar’s Case, Julian Comforts Kim

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, October 18, 2018 reveals, Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) and Kim (Tamara Braun) discuss Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) birthday and his breakup with Jocelyn (Eden McCoy). Bobbie asks Kim how they are celebrating Oscar’s birthday.

Kim Alienates Oscar Further

Bobbie is sad because Michael (Chad Duell) won’t have that time with his son. Bobbie tells Kim about B.J. (ex Brighten Hertford). Oscar meets with Kim at the hospital. Kim wishes Oscar happy birthday and asks if he has plans. Oscar wants to make sure Kim isn’t throwing a surprise party. Kim and Drew want to take Oscar out for his birthday. Oscar wants a chance to make up his mind about his future. Kim tells Oscar that this treatment could slow the growth of the tumor.

Kim tries to convince Oscar it is worth the risk, Oscar starts to leave and demands Kim stop pressuring him. Kim goes to Charlie’s and rants to Julian (William DeVry) but still doesn’t tell him what is going on with Oscar. Kim tells Julian today is Oscar’s birthday and she can’t give him the one thing he wants. Julian tells Kim he thinks Oscar is going through something medical. Julian asks Kim if Oscar is sick and she nods. Julian tells Kim he will be there even if its to hold her hand.

Cameron Agrees To Be Jocelyn’s Boyfriend

General Hospital’s Jocelyn calls Cameron; she wants him to be her boyfriend, he hangs up on her. Cameron tells Oscar he has to go. Oscar demands to know what is going on with Jocelyn. Cameron tells Oscar Jocelyn may move on faster than he thinks. Oscar is upset over Cameron’s grade on his paper.

Cameron shows up at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) with pizza. Jocelyn thanks Cameron for coming over and explains she needs him to help her get Oscar back. Cameron doesn’t like the idea of pretending to be together. Jocelyn tells Cameron he is right and to forget it. Cameron changes his mind and agrees to be Jocelyn’s boyfriend. Jocelyn posts a picture of her and Cameron on Instagram.

Julian And Alexis Discuss Kristina

General Hospital’s Julian and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) discuss Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) working at Charlie’s. Alexis tries to pump Julian for information. Julian tells Alexis he still cares about her. Alexis says every good boss cares about his employees. Julian says you don’t just shut off feelings for people considered family. Alexis tells Julian about her meeting with Oscar. Julian tells Alexis about Oscar quitting school. Julian tells Alexis that something is going on with Kim and Oscar, but she won’t tell him about it. Julian asks if Oscar told Alexis anything, she gets a text and leaves.

Liz and Franco Meet With Aiden’s Teacher

General Hospital’s Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco (Roger Howarth) meet with Aiden’s (Jason David) teacher, Miss Tate. Liz asks if something is wrong. Miss Tate is taking notes about Aiden’s home life. Miss Tate says Aiden is a great kid and is very helpful. Miss Tate thinks Aiden is having some trouble.

Miss Tate believes Aiden is quiet and withdrawn. Aiden doesn’t want to go out for recess and seems to be cutting himself off from his classmates. Franco tells the teacher about the pencil incident. Franco thinks he knows what is going on with Aiden. Franco says he was the same way as a child and still made friends. Miss Tate suggests Franco and Liz observe Aiden and see how much time he spends alone. Miss Tate suggests they talk to Aiden to see what is bothering him at school.

Olivia Saves The Day

General Hospital’s Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) informs Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) there is a problem with their wedding. Olivia tells them their wedding didn’t get transferred to the new schedule. Olivia wants Jordan and Curtis to reschedule their wedding. Olivia tells Jordan she has an idea and starts making calls. Olivia suggests the reception on the Haunted Starr.

Oscar Tells Alexis The Truth

General Hospital’s Jocelyn tells Carly (Laura Wright) that Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) stopped by and helped her see things in a different light. Carly and Jocelyn decide to go shopping. Carly invites Jocelyn to join her and Bobbie for lunch. Jocelyn declines. Carly and Bobbie meet at the Metrocourt. Bobbie and Carly talk about her meeting with Kim. Oscar and Alexis meet at the Metrocourt and Carly are curious about it. Oscar tells Alexis about his cancer and the drug trial.

Alexis tries to encourage Oscar and tells him about her cancer. Carly is tempted to find out what is going on with Alexis and Oscar. Oscar asks Alexis about emancipation Alexis advises Oscar to reconsider. Alexis begs Oscar to try and work this out with his parents. Oscar tells Alexis the drug trial could make him die faster. Oscar begs Alexis to help him; she promises to think about it. Bobbie stops Carly from interrupting.
