General Hospital RECAP Monday, September 10: Nelle Gives Michael A Cryptic Clue

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, September 10, 2018 reveals,  Carly (Laura Wright) joins Michael (Chad Duell), he’s written her from jail. Carly says Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is a piece of work. Carly and Michael run into Brad (Parry Shen) at the Metrocourt. Carly says the baby looked just like Michael when he was a baby.

Michael Gets A Letter From Nelle

Michael tells Brad he’s getting ready to open a letter Nelle sent him. Brad agrees with Carly that Michael shouldn’t read the letter. Michael knows the message is manipulation. Michael needs to read it. Brad starts to leave, Michael says the letter mentions him.

Nelle tells Michael that she hopes spending time with Brad and Lucas’ (Ryan Carnes) baby helps him. Nelle forgives Michael, Carly is furious. The more Carly reads the madder she gets. Carly tells Michael that Nelle is working him. Carly begs Michael to tell her he doesn’t believe this. Carly tells Michael that Nelle is lashing out because she lost. Carly begs Michael not to let Nelle win. Michael promises to call Carly if he needs her. Michael rereads the letter. Michael seems to clue in on Nelle’s meaning.

Nina Still Loves Valentin

General Hospital’s Nina (Michelle Stafford) tells Maxie (Kirsten Storms) her mother is sending her a message. Nina says her baby is alive somewhere. Maxie understands what Nina would think this. Nina says she’s not trying to make her mom good. Nina hopes this means her baby is out there. Nina tells Maxie she had 24-hour care while in her coma.

Maxie reminds Nina that the pendant was a scam in Annie. Maxie wants to call it a day and see a movie. Nina agrees to a movie and will meet Maxie at the elevator. Maxie and Nina go upstairs for a drink, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is there. Valentin tells Nina that Madeline (Donna Mills) was wrong. Nina needs to permit herself to mourn what Madeline wasn’t. Nina needs to discuss something with Valentin. Nina tells Valentin she signed the divorce papers and gave him back her rings.

Valentin refuses to take the rings back. Nina admits that she loves Valentin. Nina believes Valentin never did anything to hurt her. Maxie says Valentin intentionally hurt other people. Maxie thinks Valentin is why Nina feels that baby lived. Nina tells Maxie she knows her mother. Maxie says this has to mean her child lived. Nina pulls out the necklace and hugs it before making a phone call.

Curtis Believes There’s A Money Trail

General Hospital’s Valentin calls Curtis (Donnell Turner) to get an update. Curtis tells Valentin that Madeline used Carter for adoption 25 years ago. Curtis wants to talk to Madeline. Valentin tells Curtis that Madeline is dead. Curtis tells Valentin there has to be a trail and he is going to check on leads. Curtis comes back and offers condolences to Nina. Curtis may have found a link to who adopted Nina’s baby. Curtis asks if Valentin wants him to go through with this.

Sonny And Jason Discuss Mob Life

General Hospital’s Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) talk about Mike’s (Max Gail) state of mind. Sonny has the resources and can handle this to a point. Jason wants to know how the gun ties back to Sonny. Sonny tells Jason his fingerprints could be on the gun. Sonny says Mike warned him about Scully, and he didn’t listen. Sonny asks Jason how many people told him not to take that job.

Jason says, everyone. Sonny mentions firing Jason and him not leaving. Jason wanted to make his own choices. Sonny wanted everything Scully (Robert Miano) had. Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) calls Sonny and lets him know where Mike is. Kristina will hang out with Mike until Sonny gets there. Kristina tells Mike that Sonny is on his way to pick him up. Mike thinks it’s the middle of the night.

Mike goes hysterical no one is supposed to be there. Julian (William DeVry) finds the leak and runs upstairs. Mike tells Kristina they need to leave. Sonny shows up at Charlie’s with Jason. Jason asks Julian what is going on. Julian ask Jason if Sonny knows anything about this. Jason tells Sonny what Julian said. Sonny says he doesn’t see Kristina. Kristina passes out in the floor at Charlie’s.

Julian Evacuates The Pub

General Hospital’s Mike is in the basement at Charlie’s. Mike takes a pipe wrench and breaks a gas line. Meanwhile, Julian hires Kristina immediately. Kristina tells Julian he will love her and never want her to leave. Mike comes upstairs, and Kristina asks why he’s there. Mike tells Kristina she wasn’t supposed to be there. Mike tells Kristina she needs to leave now.

Mike seems to be getting confused. Kristina asks Mike if anyone knows he’s there. Kristina is talking to Mike while Julian smells gas. Julian finds the leak and goes upstairs. Julian tells everyone they need to leave immediately. Julian helps get Mike out of the Pub. Mike drops the wrench on the way out the door. Kristina asks Julian about the leak.

Julian tells Kristina the valve was purposely broken off. Kristina looks at Mike, slowing putting together what happened. Julian is on the phone trying to get help. Kristina runs back into Charlie’s and finds the wrench. Mike tells Sonny that Kristina said she would be right back. Jason runs to save Kristina. Sonny holds Mike back from running into Charlie’s. Jason grabs Kristina and tells him to get the wrench. Mike is crying, and it’s all his fault, the building blows up.
