“General Hospital” (GH) recap for Monday, July 9, 2018, Maxie (Kirsten Storms), Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Liesl (Kathleen Gati) bring Baby James home.
Maxie Brings James Home
Maxie can’t get her feet to walk through the door of the apartment. Liesl tells Maxie that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) is alive in James. Maxie welcomes James home to the place his father was most alive. Maxie tells James all about baseball.
Liesl wants to hold James and feed him, she never got to feed Nathan. Nina talks Liesl into going to get antibiotics for Peter (Wes Ramsey) after Maxie puts James to bed. Maxie thanks Nina for everything, she and Liesl helped her through today.

Nina wants to know if Maxie is still bitter about Peter. Maxie tells Nina she doesn’t want Peter to die. Peter made terrible choices with terrible consequences, Maxie wants to believe Peter wanted to start over. Maxie tells Nina that Nathan would have seen it that way too.
Nina wants to know if Maxie will be ok alone, she has to get used to it. Nina shows up and tells Liesl the bugle is hers. Liesl wants to know why Nina would have a bugle. Nina tells Liesl she brought it for a warning device. Nina tries to play the bugle and can’t.
Liesl goes to get more antibiotics and Peter questions why Nina covered for him. Nina tells Peter about talking to Maxie and how she doesn’t want him to die. Liesl goes to GH and asks Bensch (James DePaiva) for his assistance.
Bensch gives Liesl a prescription, Finn (Michael Easton) comes out of the elevator wondering why she is there. Peter begs Nina to help him and he will make sure she’s won’t get in trouble.
Nelle Arranges The Wedding For Tomorrow
General Hospital’s Michael (Chad Duell) still wants to get married today. Kim (Tamara Braun) is ready to see Nelle (Chloe Lanier) now, Michael says soon their family will be complete. Michael and Nelle go to eat, he begs Nelle to get married today.
Michael tells Nelle they can’t have a real wedding because of Chase. Michael wants to get married now to get rid of Chase (Josh Swickard). Nelle has an idea and walks off. Michael nods and smiles at Chase. Nelle talked to Olivia and they are getting married tomorrow. Michael calls Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and tells her Nelle took the bait.
Chase Turns Down Finn’s Gift
General Hospital’s Finn calls Chase to meet, he wants them to get to know each other. Finn tells Chase about reading Peter’s book. Finn asks Chase if there is anything new on the case. Chase wants to know if Finn asked him there to get info on Peter.
Finn tells Chase he wants to give him his birthday present. Finn gives Chase game tickets and a hotel room. Chase says his parents will be in town that weekend. Finn offers to try and get another ticket so he and his parents can go. Chase turns down the tickets, Finn tells him to have a nice birthday. Nelle rubs it in Chase’s face about the wedding tomorrow.
Scott Agrees To Help Julian
General Hospital’s Scott (Kin Shriner) tells Ava (Maura West) he needs to tell her something. Ava tells Scott she already knows about the picture of Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Griffin (Matt Cohen). Ava wants to know why Scott is talking about himself in the third person.
Scott says he has to bring the evidence into court. Ava tells Scott she is paying him a fortune because she knows he can handle this. Ava leaves to go check on Kiki. Julian (William DeVry) asks Scott how to go about the renovations. Scott tells Julian he will take him on as a client. Julian is going through boxes and finds a picture of Mike (Max Gail) and Charlie together.
Sonny Offers To Buy Charlie’s
General Hospital’s Julian tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) about his expansion plans. Jason is afraid they will find the body. Jason is not happy with what Julian is going to do. Jason tells Sonny the bigger the project the more chance of discovery.
Sonny offers to buy Charlies, Julian doesn’t want to sell. Sonny tells Jason to make some calls and delay construction. Felix (Marc Samuel) tells Sonny that Mike is unsettled. Sonny wants to talk to Mike, Felix tells him to wait. Sonny says all this craziness has to end tonight.
Kiki Loses Another Doctor In The Shadow Program
General Hospital’s Kiki and Griffin talk about the trial. Bensch comes up and wants a consult with Griffin. Ava tells Griffin that she heard about the picture. Kiki shows up and the doctor she was supposed to shadow dropped out of the program.
Ava refuses to let Kiki quiet, they will deal with Bensch in court. Kiki thanks Ava and goes to try and salvage her shadow position. Ava tells Kiki she and Griffin will both be there for her. Bensch confronts Kiki as she walks around the corner and brings up the shadow program.
Finn Believes Wyatt’s Story
General Hospital’s Wyatt (Patrick Gibbons) is still trying to get Peter loose when Liesl shows up. Liesl tells Peter she just held the baby, getting rid of Peter is important now. Liesl leaves again, Wyatt comes out and takes the notebook to get help.
Wyatt goes to the hospital and tells Franco about finding Peter tied up in a cabin. Liesl finds the bugle under the bed and demands to know where it came from. Wyatt tells Franco more about Peter. Franco gives Wyatt paper and asks if he can draw a map.
Wyatt tells Franco that the bad lady talks funny. Wyatt keeps talking to Franco about the guy in trouble. Wyatt draws a picture of Liesl’s shoes. Wyatt points out Liesl as the villain and tells Finn about the man in the cabin. Finn wants Wyatt to tell he and Finn exactly where the cabin is.
