General Hospital RECAP Monday, July 23 Peter Saves Nina, Says Liesl Worked Alone

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, July 23, 2018 reveals, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) meets with Lucas (Ryan Carnes) at the hospital. Alexis has some things to go over with Lucas. Lucas can’t believe the baby will be here this week.

Alexis and Lucas Go Over The Adoption

Lucas is afraid the birth mother will change her mind. Lucas and Alexis talk about bonding with the baby. Alexis will do everything she can to make this go easy. Lucas insists on checking out Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Maxie (Kirstin Storms). Maxie wants a minute with Peter (Wes Ramsey) first.

Kim and Julian Discuss The Future

General Hospital’s Kim (Tamara Braun) and Julian (William DeVry) move his stuff to the Metrocourt. Kim is surprised he is at the Metrocourt. Julian tells Kim he can’t stay with her. Julian tells Kim he didn’t want to put her on the spot asking to stay with her. Kim agrees that she and Julian aren’t there yet. Kim doesn’t want to get ahead of herself with Julian. Julian tells Kim she doesn’t want the future to be a problem for them. Kim tells Julian that their relationship feels too easy.

Kim is concerned about Oscar (Garren Stitt), not Julian. Julian tells Kim he doesn’t want to come between her and Oscar. Kim tells Julian she never dated when Oscar was little. Kim tells Julian her focus has always been Oscar and work. Kim tells Julian she may not be able to give him what he deserves. Kim doesn’t want to break Julian’s heart. Julian tells Kim he is happy for now. Julian wants to look for what is next together.

Oscar Refuses Sex With Josslyn

General Hospital’s Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Oscar are watching TV and end up kissing. Josslyn invites Oscar upstairs. Oscar tells Josslyn this isn’t a good idea. Oscar and Josslyn fight over not having sex. Oscar tells Josslyn she’s acting crazy. Oscar thinks Josslyn is moving too fast and will regret it. Oscar tells Josslyn that now doesn’t feel like the right time for them to have sex. Oscar leaves promising to call tomorrow.

Margaux Has A Gift For Drew

General Hospital’s Drew’s (Billy Miller) assistant gives him a letter. Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) walks up and asks if it’s bad news. Margaux gives Drew a cap for a peace offering. Drew’s letter is an invitation to his class reunion. Drew tells Margaux he doesn’t remember high school. Drew goes on to say he doesn’t remember anything before 2014. Margaux encourages Drew to go to the reunion. Margaux goes to her room and finds an envelope marked Drew Cain. Drew pays his bill and leaves.

Finn Saves Peter

General Hospital’s Finn (Michael Easton) goes into the stables after Peter. Finn yells for Peter but gets no answer. Finn grabs Peter to drag him out. Finn makes it out with Peter. Maxie kneels beside Peter, begging him not to die. Peter doesn’t have a pulse and isn’t breathing. Maxie helps Finn doe DPR. Peter may have lung damage from the smoke. Maxie tells Peter that Nina is in good shape. Peter tells Maxie he heard her tell the paramedics to save him.

Peter tells Maxie she still cares. Maxie tells Peter she doesn’t care about him at all. Maxie talks to Peter about his book. Maxie tells Peter he needs to stop making excuses. Maxie tells Peter he got a second chance at life, don’t waste it. Peter is handcuffed to a bed in ICU. Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) asks if Liesl (Kathleen Gati) had an accomplice. Peter tells Jordan that Liesl acted alone. Peter tells Jordan that Nina (Michelle Stafford) found him at the stables or he would be dead.

Alexis Refuses To Represent Nina

Nina is taking to GH for treatment. Lucas prepares to take care of Nina and Peter. Finn calls Anna (Finola Hughes) with an update on Peter. Finn asks Anna to call him immediately. Nina tells Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) he saved her life. Valentin tells Alexis Nina is going to need her help. Nina tells Alexis that Liesl kidnapped Peter. Alexis won’t represent Alexis. Jordan wants to question Nina. Jordan tells Nina that Liesl is in custody. Nina refuses to speak without her attorney present. Alexis tells Jordan she isn’t representing Nina.

Finn Gets A Text From Anna

Alexis and Finn talk. Finn tells Alexis he hasn’t actually spoken to Anna. Finn tells Alexis that Anna is in Berkley with Robin (Kimberly McCullough). Finn is waiting on a text back from Anna. Finn gets a text saying Anna will call tomorrow.
