General Hospital RECAP Friday, June 8: Jason’s Crucial Testimony, Nelle Busts Michael

“General Hospital” (GH) recap for Friday, June 7, 2018 kicks off with Griffin (Matt Cohen) taking the stand in Carly’s (Laura Wright) defense. Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) keeps looking for Jason (Steve Burton) who hasn’t arrived.
Griffin Testifies To Carly’s Hallucinations
Diane question Griffin who tells her he treated Carly for hallucinations. Jason arrives at court. Griffin describes the phone calls and sounds Carly heard as hallucinations. Griffin tells the court he referred Carly to Kevin (Jon Lindstrom).
Kevin Says The Medication Can Cause Irrational Behavior
General Hospital’s Kevin takes the stand, he says the medication that Carly is on could cause her to act more violent. Kevin says the drug could cause Carly to not realize she did something wrong.

Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) wants to bring up Carly’s other mental issues. Jason thinks this needs to be stopped now. Sonny (Maurice Benard) thinks this is Carly’s best defense.
Chase Calls Carly Mentally Disturbed
General Hospital’s Chase (Josh Swickard) takes the stand, he discusses going to Bobbie’s (Jackie Zeman) house and seeing the picture.
The second incident was going to the cemetery and Carly saying she got a note to come there. Carly kept insisting there was a note on a flyer that wasn’t there. Carly seemed disturbed and irrational.
Sonny Believes Carly Broke Over Morgan
General Hospital’s Sonny takes the stand. Sonny tells the court about Morgan (Bryan Craig) and Mike (Max Gail). Carly was slipping from reality, Sonny understands why she believes this is real. Sonny never experienced these things, he doesn’t think Carly has come to the realization that Morgan is gone.
Sonny worries at times, like before Nelle’s shower. Carly sees Nelle as a threat to their son, she doesn’t want to lose another child Sonny says. The D.A (Elizabeth Hendrickson) brings up the mob, Sonny says he’s a coffee importer, she brings up lying about Nelle and accuses him of lying to protect Carly.
Sonny tells the court that his daughter and father went missing because of Carly going to the graveyard and that wouldn’t have happened if she was in her right mind.
Jason Wants Diane Fired
General Hospital’s Jason wants Carly to fire Diane to buy him time to prove her innocence. Diane stops Jason and Carly’s conversation and says she has five minutes to decide if she wants to stay in Pentonville or go to Shadybrook.
Jason takes the stand and tells the court about the phone call and the explosion and how they went to the phone booth and found nothing. Jason tells the court about the scarf on Carly’s desk and describes it. Jason tells the court that Carly was hopefully that Morgan was still alive.
Diane asks if Jason has experience with security systems, he says yes but he found nothing wrong with the one at Bobbie’s, they also discuss the picture. The D.A makes a point of bringing up that Carly trusted Jason before Sonny.
The D.A. asked why Sonny didn’t notice anything, they agree he was distracted. The D.A asks Jason if he can swear that Carly was insane when she attacked Nelle.
Jordan Hires Curtis And Sam
General Hospital’s Jordan (Vinesse Antoine) tells Curtis (Donnell Turner) the meeting didn’t go well with the mayor, she doesn’t have enough time to catch Peter. Jordan tells Curtis she is not going to lose her job over Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Jordan is going to revamp the PCPD when this is over. Jordan hires Curtis and Sam (Kelly Monaco) to find Peter.
Kiki Wants Justice, Not Money
General Hospital’s Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) goes to see Monica (Patty McCormmack) and wants to discuss Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva), Kiki (Hayley Erin) is going public. Monica doesn’t want to discuss it with Alexis but she says they might avoid a lawsuit.
Monica wants to know if Kiki wants money, Alexis tells her no and wants to know why the policies are so weak. Monica tells Alexis that Bensch has already been cleared. Monica also tells Alexis she thinks she can help Kiki. Monica will try and keep Kiki away from Bensch, Alexis doesn’t think that is enough.
Finn Opens Up About His Family
General Hospital’s Anna (Finola Hughes) is lying in bed with Robin’s (Kimberly McCullough) picture, Finn (Michael Easton) arrives, doesn’t think things went well.
Anna asks Finn how it could go well, things have changed. Anna tells Finn that Robin was far and compassionate but she feels something is irrevocably lost. Anna tells Finn that she was holding back a part of her soul, no one could really know her.
Finn and Anna sit in the floor, she tells him that Robin mentioned her holding the grandchildren with tears in her eyes. Robin is the definition of compassion but Anna broke her trust, it felt like goodbye. Finn tells Anna that Robin is getting her bearings. Anna apologizes to Finn, he says he hasn’t been forthcoming, she asks if he wants to talk.
Finn tells Anna that he ran into his father across the street at the coffee shop. Finn took his mom’s maiden name when his dad remarried. Finn wanted to get away from it all. Finn says Chase wants something from him that he cannot give him, they are brothers in name only. Anna asks Finn if she is missing something.
Finn tells Anna that is enough history for today, they both like getting to know each other better. Finn apologizes for telling Anna she was one step away from getting a bathrobe and a cat. Finn starts to leave, Anna stops him.
Michael Almost Gets Caught
General Hospital’s Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle (Chloe Lanier) are out in the hallway, he gets her a water. Nelle wants to go back into the courtroom, Michael says no she needs to go home. Nelle can’t stand to go home by herself, she asks Michael to go and he agrees.
Michael wants Nelle to take a nap while he puts together something for the baby. Michael sneaks to the terrace and calls Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) telling him Nelle buried Carly and he needs evidence it was a setup. Michael tries to allow Spinelli access to Nelle’s computer, she catches him with it and demands to know what is going on.
Michael tries to cover for having Nelle’s computer, he makes up a lie about getting the wrong one. Monica arrives and wants to know how the court is. Monica tells Michael standing by Nelle is the right thing and they are all family. Monica offers to help put the bed together. Monica gets the bed together.
Alexis Opens The Envelope
General Hospital’s Alexis goes to see Kevin. Alexis has the envelope that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) gave her. Kevin says her father is dead, the only power he has is what she gives him. Alexis asks if Kevin wants her to open the envelope, he leaves it up to her. Alexis opens the envelope on her father and a watch falls out
Drew Moves Into The Mansion
Drew (Billy Miller) shows up with his luggage to move in, he used his key to let himself in. Monica asks if Drew being there means what she thinks it does. Drew replies if the office is still open, Monica hugs him and says welcome home son.
