General Hospital RECAP Friday, June 1: Maxie Receives Peter’s Letter, Jokes On Nelle

“General Hospital” (GH) recap for Thursday, May 31, 2018, reveals Jason (Steve Burton) arrives at Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) apartment, the cop doesn’t want to let him in.

Jason Is Afraid For Anna

Jason tells the cop he is there to see Anna (Finola Hughes), she calls him into the room. Jason is worried, he wants to know what Anna is going to do to protect herself. Anna doesn’t believe Peter will hurt her. Anna says she is the last thing on Peter’s mind, he won’t come back after her.

Jason tries to tell Anna that Peter hates her, she doesn’t want to hear it. Robert (Tristan Rogers) joins them, Jason wants to check the room. Robert blames Jason for Peter’s escape. Anna is not happy that Peter escaped because he is everyone’s target.

Robert points out Anna’s double standard. Jason figures out where the flash drive was. Robert thanks Jason for his help and for saving Anna. Robert informs Anna that she needs to call Robin (Kimberly McCullough). Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) joins Robert and Anna to see if they found anything. Anna gets a call from Robin and decides she needs to go see her today. Robert tells Anna to give Robin space and let her process this. Robert leaves Anna with Jordan.

Maxie Holds Her Son

General Hospital’s Maxie (Molly Burnett) has a dream about Peter. Maxie dreams that Peter asks if the baby looks more like him or Nathan. Nina (Michelle Stafford) wakes Maxie up, she tells her Peter has escaped, no one knows where he is. Maxie tells Nina she is an idiot. Nina says she went against all of her instincts and bought lie after lie.

Nina tells Maxie that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) knew Peter was Heinrik (Wes Ramsey) all along to cover himself. Nina tells Maxie that Anna is Peter’s mother. Nina tells Maxie what Valentin did about Peter. Nina tells Maxie she is divorcing Valentin. A nurse wheels the baby in to see Maxie. Nina holds the baby. Nina says Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will know that his baby will be loved by many.

Carly Sticks To The Plea

General Hospital’s Sonny (Maurice Benard) visits Carly (Laura Wright) at Pentonville, she wants a progress report on her case. Carly says they should have forced Nelle (Chloe Lanier) out of town when they had the chance. Sonny thinks the insanity defense is Carly’s best way out. Carly tells Sonny she did what he and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) wanted.

Carly is annoyed because she might have to go to Shady Brook to recover. Carly wants to know how she’s going to convince the kids she is innocent if she goes to a mental institution. Carly agrees to not change her plea. Carly wants to know how things are at home. Carly tells Sonny to plan something with Avery and Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Sonny tells Carly Michael (Chad Duell) has moved back to the Quartermaine’s and so has Nelle. Later, Sonny goes to visit Nelle.

Nelle Thinks She Has The Upper Hand

General Hospital’s Nelle wants to apologize for what she did to Carly. Nelle tells Michael she didn’t mean for any of this to happen. Michael tells Nelle his focus is on her and the baby and she is completely safe. Michael is going to get his bags to move back into the Quartermaine mansion. Jason shows up to see Michael.

Nelle speaks to Jason, he tells her he is glad she and the baby are ok. Jason wants to know if Michael believes Nelle. Nelle listens in on their conversation. Michael gets the point across to Jason that he is playing Nelle. Later, Michael calls someone to investigate Nelle and Sonny shows up at the Quartermaine’s to see her.

Nina Gets A Cryptic Message

General Hospital’s Peter wakes up in a room strapped to a bed. Peter remembers being kidnapped, he screams for whoever has him. Nina gets a text to come to the location of kidnapped Peter.

Jason Promises To Prove Carly’s Innocents

General Hospital’s Jason visits Carly in prison and apologizes for not being at her hearing. Jason tells Carly he will find that blanket and tie Nelle to the scarf. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is checking Nelle’s internet searches to see if she ordered the scarf online.

Carly doesn’t believe Jason will prove her innocence even if he finds the blanket. Jason tells Carly not to accept the plea deal, he wants her to fight. Jason doesn’t want her to sit in a mental institution for something she didn’t do. Carly is sticking with the insanity defense, Jason promises to back her.

Anna Delivers Peter’s Letter

General Hospital’s Anna visits Maxie and tells her she didn’t know Peter was Heinrik until the Nurse’s Ball. Anna tells Maxie that she believes Peter regrets what he did and gives her the note from Peter.
