General Hospital RECAP Friday, August 17: Mike Drops A Baby Wiley Bomb, Madeline Stirs Up Trouble

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, August 17, 2018, reveals, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Mike (Max Gail) show up at Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn). Alexis thanks them for coming. Alexis’ is sorry over Michael’s baby.

Mike Sees Carly In Wiley

Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) wants the party called off. Sam (Kelly Monaco) says they are at the halfway mark. Alexis can’t promise anything. Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) want to hold off on the party. Brad and Lucas show up, both are upset.

Sam tells Lucas and Brad to stop being ridiculous. Sam tells them not to postpone their feelings. Mike and Sonny made lasagna. Sonny wanted to meet his nephew. Lucas tells Brad Sonny set aside his grief to be there. Sonny hold’s Wiley.

Mike thinks Wiley looks like Carly. Mike points out the eyes and lips. Lucas believes this is unfair. Michael (Chad Duell) arrives at the party. Michael looks at Sonny holding Wiley. Mike tells Michael his son looks just like Carly.

Sonny tries to explain that it’s Brad and Lucas’ baby. Bobbie wonders if Michael should be there. Michael apologizes to Lucas and Brad. Michael is happy for both of them. Julian (William DeVry) shows up at Alexis’ to confront Sonny.

Sonny takes it outside. Julian blames Sonny for the expansion problems. Sonny tells Julian he has nothing to do with it. Julian knows something is going on. Julian comes in and apologizes. Julian says the baby looks different.

Brad says they always say that about babies. Julian starts to get pictures. The baby starts to wake up. Michael is holding the baby. Mike talks about Sonny when he was a baby. Mike needs to go to the kitchen. Bobbie apologizes for Mike. Michael is ok.

Alexis gets a call about the baby. Julian asks if Alexis is ok. Sam believes it’s Julian, Alexis says no. Alexis tells them that was the birth mother’s attorney. The birth mother has decided not to terminate her rights. Brad looks form Michael to the baby.

Drew Is On To Margaux’s Plan

General Hospital’s Julian cannot get a contractor. A building inspector shows up at Charlie’s. Drew (Billy Miller) comes to Charlie’s. Drew wants to know why Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) talked to Jason (Steve Burton) about him.

Julian is told there is a fissue underground and he can’t expand the business. Margaux wants Drew’s help to take Sonny down. Drew tells Margaux Jason was right. Margaux is trying to rope Drew into this. Drew points out that no other D.A. has proved a thing.

Drew isn’t going to hurt his family. Drew thinks Jason will turn on Sonny. Drew tells Margaux to try but don’t count on his help. Drew tells Margaux she is trying to use him and it’s not happening. Peter (Wes Ramsey) walks in and hears the conversation. Drew tells Margaux that she believes in science fiction Drew tells Margaux she would get laughed out of court. Margaux and Drew kiss and she leaves.

Valentin Helps Peter

General Hospital’s Peter shows up to see Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Peter tells Valentin he is free to live in Port Charles. Valentin thinks it’s a bad idea.

Peter is sorry is Valentin is inconvenienced. Peter tells Valentin that Nina (Michelle Stafford) will never forgive him. Peter tells Valentin to prove that he’s sorry for what he did. Valentin wants Peter to stay away from Nina. Peter agrees to stay away. Peter has bought “The Invador”.

Madeline Tries To Manipulate Maxie and Nina

General Hospital’s Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nina go visit Madeline (Donna Mills). Madeline acts like the wounded parent. Nina tells Madeline it is fair that she didn’t get to go to the funeral. Nina hopes that Madeline feels as bad as her. Nina woke up from a coma that Madeline put her in. Nina’s child was gone and also her ability to have kids.

Maxie wants to get this over with. Maxie tells Madeline she made a video of James. Nina cannot believe Madeline wasn’t prosecuted for taking 20 years of her life. Maxie tells Nina that Madeline will never touch James. Nina says James looks exactly like Nathan (ex Ryan Paevey). Madeline agrees the baby looks like Nathan. Madeline sees Maxie in his too.

Nina tells Maxie how Nathan reacted to naps. Madeline tells Nina she would have been a wonderful mother. Madeline doesn’t deserve forgiveness but is sorry. Nina tells Madeline she puts on a good show. Madeline has had years to think about what she did. Madeline’s need for money became a sickness. Madeline could not feel any more remorse than she does.

Nina says all she could think of was the past. Now Nina controls her own life. Madeline talks about Valentin and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). Madeline hopes Nina has found the love and happiness she deserves. Madeline begs Nina to believe her.

Madeline is waiting to meet with the parole board. Madeline has a chance to get out. Madeline wants Nina and Maxie to attest to her remorse. Nina will tell the board exactly what she thinks about her. Maxie and Nina both know this is a ploy to get their help. Maxie will go to the parole board if Madeline contacts her again. Valentin show up to see Madeline.
