General Hospital Recap 3/9/18: Sam’s Secret Exposed And Nina Gets Devastating News

The General Hospital recap for Friday, March 9, reveals Nina Cassadine (Michele Stafford) is saddened as Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) confirms she cannot carry a child when she runs into Maxie West (Kristen Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Maxie tells Nina she is going to have her baby tested to make sure he/she doesn’t carry the same disease as Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Nina is shocked by this news and then warns Peter he should keep his relationship professional with Maxie. Peter makes plans to get tested.

Sonny and Mike Heated

General Hospital Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) try to convince his dad Mike Corbin (Max Gail) to stay with them. Mike insists on leaving and he and Sonny get into a heated argument. Sonny is devastated by his father’s behaviour as Mikes memory continues to fail. Carly steps in to calm the situation down between the two men and convinces Mike to stay.

Franco Enraged

At General Hospital, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) tells Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) that his father Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) let it slip that he is keeping a secret from her. Franco is enraged; storms into his father’s hospital room and demands to know why he would try and sabotage his future with Elizabeth. Scott denies trying to hurt Franco then suggests that he and Elizabeth should elope.

Jim Exposes Franco’s Danger

General Hospital Sam Cain (Kelly Monaco) starts to talk to her husband Drew Cain (Billy Miller) after he is discharged from the hospital when they are interrupted by Jim Harvey (Gregg Evigan), who tells them Franco pushed Drew down the stairs when they were three years old. He tells them he is worried that Franco has not changed and may still be a danger to others. Drew walks off to finds Franco.

Sam’s Secret Overheard

Elizabeth and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) talk about what happened during the earthquake and he thanks her for looking after Mike. She thanks Jason for saving Franco’s life, but Jason tells her it was not his choice to save Franco. Elizabeth becomes angry and storms off but returns just in time to overhear Sam tell Jason that she has not told her husband that she loves Jason. Will Elizabeth feel the need to tell Drew what she just heard? General Hospital spoilers tease Jason’s goodwill may cost him dearly.

Before leaving the Hospital, Drew finds Franco and confronts him saying, “Are you the man who saved my life or the one who tried to kill me?”
