General Hospital Recap 3/8/18: Nelle’s Apartment Destroyed, Gives Michael Surprising News

The General Hospital recap for Thursday, March 8, reveals Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are in a restaurant in Belgium when they are interrupted by the daughter of the midwife who delivered Anna’s baby. She informs Anna the midwife has died but tells Anna her baby was a boy and gives her his date of birth; June 13th. Anna is devastated by this news.

Maxie Locked Out

While staying temporarily at the Metro Court, General Hospital Maxie West (Kirsten Storms) is locked out of her room and runs into Peter August (Wes Ramsey). He encourages Maxie to have her baby tested and offers to go with her for moral support. Maxie agrees and during their conversation, she tells him her baby is due on June 17, Peter then reveals his birthdate as June 13th.

Carly and Sonny Make Hard Choice

Meanwhile, General Hospital Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) make a tough decision and agree his dad Mike Corbin (Max Gail) needs to stay with them. Mike is confused why Rita Ferlito (Suanne Spoke) has moved back with her son and Carly is forced to tell Mike that Rita has left him.

Michael Gives Advice

General Hospital Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) runs into Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Michael asks for his advice and Jason tells him that his mother Carly has good instincts, but he should follow his own when it comes to Nelle Benson (Chole Lanier).

Nelle’s Apartment in Rubble

Nelle receives a phone call telling her that her apartment was destroyed in the earthquake; leaving her homeless. General Hospital Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) tells Nelle she is welcome to stay at the mansion. Upon hearing this news, Michael Corinthos is surprised and a little put off.

Sam Ready to Confess

General Hospital Sam Cain (Kelly Monaca) sits at her husband Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) bedside as they each relay what happened to them during the earthquake. Drew tells her how General Hospital Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) helped Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) save his life and Sam tells him that she was with Jason during the quake. On their way out of the Hospital, Sam and Drew run into Jason who gives Sam the dog tags he was holding for Danny (T.K. Weaver). Drew senses something is wrong as inquires if Sam is alright. She informs Drew that she needs to talk to him when they get home. Will Sam tell Drew what happened between her and Jason? General Hospital spoilers hint Sam is ready to do what comes next.
