General Hospital: Is PCPD The Joke Of ALL TV Police Units?

Is General Hospital’s PCPD getting worse with every single story they are involved in?

Honestly, it just seems wrong when the police commissioner is a criminal herself, Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] is covering up for one mobster, while making another her number one target. Never have we seen a police force who works with the mob, but the PCPD has since 2010 while searching for Franco (Roger Howarth).

At that time, they expected Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to help them because the PCPD was incompetent of catching him themselves. This is AFTER they got a 17-year-old kid put in prison for murder because his so-called brother couldn’t keep his mouth shut.

After Jason helped them, he got sent back to prison, when he did nothing wrong at all and finally got out on a technicality. In 2011 we are right back where we started from, with Jason having to assist the cops to catch the Balkin who escaped Jason and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), but is finally killed by his wife.

After all of this, Jason has to save his son, Danny (TK Weaver), from Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) because the PCPD can’t and he ends up “dying” not knowing Danny is his.

Move to after Jason disappears and we have Sonny (Maurice Benard) helping the mob take down Dixon who is working with Olivia Jerome. Sonny does all of this from a wheelchair until the moment he stands up and takes the gunman down.

If that isn’t enough, next we have Sonny working with Anna (Finola Hughes) to find Carlos. As we know, Sonny doesn’t kill him but he ends up being killed by Julian Jerome. Sonny also has to save Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) from Julian (William deVry), who tries to slit her throat after blackmailing her, etc. Sonny further calls the law to get Valentin (James Patrick Stewart) when he tried to kidnap Spencer.

Fast forward to Jason Morgan, who is having to try and solve this whole Nelle (Chloe Lanier) mess while the PCPD listens to the countless stories that she spins to try and bury Carly. And just to show how uneffective the PCPD is, they have to hire a PI firm to find an escapee.  Please tell me what police department has to hire a PI firm to find their lost inmates?
