General Hospital News: Ryan Paevey Reveals The Truth About Those Hallmark Deal RumorsGeneral Hospital star Ryan Paevey has officially left the building, and GH fans just finished up an emotional week of soapy drama featuring Nathan West’s funeral.

Since news broke that Ryan Paevey was leaving GH, word on the internet was that he scored a massive deal with Hallmark Movie Channel, and that’s why he opted to say goodbye to the daytime drama.  But, according to the Nathan West portrayer, that’s just not the case.

Ryan Paevey made it very clear on social media that it was his decision to leave General Hospital.  Ryan had inked a four year deal with GH, and when it ran out this year, he opted not to renew his contract.

In this week’s edition of Soap Opera Digest, Ryan sat down for an exclusive interview, and discussed his decision to leave General Hospital.

Of course, those Hallmark movie deal rumors came up, but Ryan insisted they were nothing more than just rumors.

Paevey dished to Soap Opera Digest, “There was a lot of speculation that I had inked some sort of deal with Hallmark, but they don’t do things like that.  Hallmark works on a project by project basis.”

The General Hospital actor added, “There has been a lot of speculation that Unleashing Mr. Darcy is getting a sequel, but there’s no concrete agreement yet.  I don’t have a script and no one has given me a contract yet.”
