General Hospital News: Matt Cohen Reveals Supernatural Return

General Hospital News: Matt Cohen Reveals Supernatural ReturnGeneral Hospital fans can’t imagine Port Charles without Matt Cohen’s complicated character Griffin Munro.  Over the past couple years, the priest has made a pretty big impact on some residents of the less than sleepy town.  But, before he was Griffin Munro, he was on The CW’s iconic and lengthy series, Supernatural.

Supernatural airs on Thursdays on The CW, and the hit primetime drama was just renewed for Season 14.  Cohen appeared on Supernatural from 2008-2015 as John Winchester/Michael.

The Supernatural community has been buzzing with rumors of Matt Cohen’s return.  And, the General Hospital star revealed in an interview with TV Insider that there was some truth to the rumors.

Cohen dished in his interview, “You can write this in bold-faced, capital letters with exclamation marks on the top to bottom and both sides: Before the end of Supernatural, John Winchester, my version of John Winchester, or my version of Michael, will be back on that show. I have not gotten a call from the writers, directors, producers, anybody from them, but I assure you by the end of time, by the end of the run of Supernatural, Matt Cohen will be back on there.”

Matt Cohen also dished on his relationship with Ava Jerome, and which GH characters he wanted to film scenes with next.  You can check out the full interview here.
