General Hospital News: Here’s How You Could Own Faison’s Infamous Mask!

Good news for General Hospital fans who wanted to get their hands on any iconic props and costumes that have been worn and used by some of the biggest stars from Port Charles. A new report says that General Hospital memorabilia are going up for auction in what is being called a one-of-a-kind event.

Some of the items are expected to go for thousands of dollars, which isn’t surprising, considering just how popular General Hospital and daytime television is. According to Forbes, among some of the noteworthy items include a 2015 Nurses Ball worn by Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), and the 2016 Nurse’s Ball gown worn by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

A few other items include pieces from Like and Laura Spencer’s closet (played by Anthony Geary and Genie Francis), and items from Sonny Corinthos (played by Maurice Benard), Carly Corinthos (played by Laura Wright) and the Duke Lavery latex mask donned by Cesar Faison (played Andres Hove).

If that weren’t enough, fans will also be able to get their hands on Franco’s bizarre if not a little strange iconic cymbal-banging monkey. Franco was once played by Hollywood actor James Franco, who has gone on to star in a number of block buster hits since leaving the soap in 2009.

All the items up for auction will come with a Certificate of Authenticity from Prop Store. The company has been selling movie memorabilia and hosting live and online auctions from its facilities in Los Angeles and London since 1998. Bidding opens on April 2 and runs until April 13.
