General Hospital News: Genie Francis Dishes Big Return To Port Charles, What’s Next For Laura?

It’s without a doubt that Genie Francis is still feeling as though she’s on cloud nine now that she’s back where she belongs: and that’s as her character Laura Collins on General Hospital. In fact, the beautiful brunette actress says that she feels incredibly grateful for all of the support that she’s received ever since she’s returned to the show.

Genie says that the love that she has received from all of her daytime television fans is something that she’s never experienced before. And needless to say, she appreciates each and every fan who has supported her throughout the years.

“I just want to say thank you to all the people who supported me,” Francis said, according to ABC 13 News. “The outpouring of love and support was just amazing really, it was such a surprise, and I’m just grateful.”

As many fans know, Laura’s homecoming hasn’t gone as planned. She spent the last several months taking care of her grandson after he broke his leg in Europe. But now that she’s back, all Laura was hoping for is to spend time with her husband, Kevin. But what she doesn’t know is that the man she supposedly loves is also the man that she loathes – Kevin’s brother, Ryan. And according to Genie, she is loving every second of this exciting storyline.

“Let’s face it, a good sociopath is a great story,” the actress added. “I think we’re going to be with it for a while.”

Now, what’s next for Laura remains to be seen. But if there’s one thing for certain, it’s that fans will definitely see a different side of her in the coming weeks. You won’t want to miss an episode!
