General Hospital Mystery: How Can Alexis, Lucas & Diane Not Suspect Julian Of Custody Tampering

Sometimes General Hospital (GH) Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) makes the least sense of any character on General Hospital. When it comes to Julian Jerome (William DeVry), this is almost always the case. Alexis has given fans many “duh” moments concerning him. Why would she think Julian would change now?

Julian Agreed To Stay Away From The Baby

Julian agreed to stay out of Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas’ (Ryan Carnes) life because of the baby. Baby Wiley arrived, and Julian was right there. Brad took pictures of Julian with the baby. Brad let Julian hold the baby. Julian was involved. Lucas didn’t want him to be, but he was.

Alexis Is Upset Over Julian’s Interference

Upcoming spoilers say that Alexis is concerned about Julian interfering with the custody case. Alexis was married to this man. This man has manipulated Alexis. Julian almost got Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Scout killed by not being honest. Still, Alexis gives Julian the benefit of the doubt.

Alexis knows that Julian is aware of Brad and Lucas’ custody issue. Does Alexis honestly believe that Julian won’t get involved? Julian is misguided in every way when it comes to “helping” his kids. I mean, he “helped” Sam by poisoning her husband. Alexis should know that Julian is going to interfere no matter what. It is unbelievable that she would not anticipate this move.

Diane Should Suspect Sabotage

Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) should expect that something is up with her client. The woman calls her wanting her child back and then suddenly has a change of heart. Diane would have already suggested that something was up. A mother is not just going to suddenly change her mind after deciding she wants her kid back. It is ludicrous not at least to assume that Julian is involved.

Lucas Should Be Suspicious As Well

Even Lucas seems to be blind in this. Brad and Julian have had their heads together several times. Lucas has asked Brad what he and Julian are up to with these meetings. Now the birth mother is a no-show and Brad and Lucas get the baby. How much more plain can it be? A blind man could connect these dots and realize Julian is involved. Lucas should know that Julian is behind this change.

Alexis Should Worry About The Mother’s Fate

Julian turned on Alexis on a dime and tried to kill her. Now the birth mother has changed her mind. Is the woman still alive? What was Julian’s persuasion to change her mind? Did Julian offer her money? Did Julian threaten her life? Did Julian promise visitation with the child? Julian has proven that he cannot be trusted, why is anyone trusting him now?

Alexis has turned a blind eye to everything Julian has done. She continues to believe that he’s changed. Will this open Alexis’ eyes again or will she keep to encourage Julian knowing he has pressured this mother?
