General Hospital Lexi Ainsworth Dishes On Returning to GH and What’s Ahead For Kristina

It was a long time coming, but it looks like Kristina is finally back where she belongs, and that’s in Port Charles. In fact, General Hospital star Lexi Ainsworth has recently opened up about returning to the show and what’s in store for her character, Kristina.

Speaking to ABC Soaps in Depth, Lexi says that she loves seeing Kristina back in the family fold and was actually pleasantly surprised that the show’s producers had even reached out to her.

She told the publication, “With social media, it doesn’t seem like so much time has passed, but I definitely missed everyone, so it’s cool to be back. I love working with these people! I’ve known them since I was 16, so it’s like my second family.”

As far as what is in store for Kristina, Lexi added, “Right now, it’s about reconnecting with family. But General Hospital has a storyline in mind. I don’t know what it is, but I can’t wait to find out!”

The last time fans saw Kristina, she was heavily involved with Parker. Many Pristina fans were hoping that actress Ashley Jones would reprise her role as well, but right now there is no indication that says the actress is returning to General Hospital.

Lexi herself said, “It could happen! Never say never.” Of course, anything can still happen at anytime. Fans will simply have to continue tuning in to find out what will happen next!
