General Hospital: JaSam Fans Want Action – What Was The Purpose Of The Elevator Scene?

What was the purpose of Sam [Kelly Monaco] and Jason Morgan [Steve Burton]’s latest elevator scene on General Hospital?

JaSam fans have been asking this since it happened. Sam gets in the elevator and purposely nods to Jason to join her and then there is no follow up at all. So where did they go? What happened next?  We have no idea, apparently you are supposed to play guess your own ending.

Did Jason drop Sam off at home and go home alone?  Did they play dominoes and drink tequila to unwind?  Let’s be honest, at this point the whole scene was POINTLESS.  JaSam fans want a connection.  They want Jasam together after all this time.

JaSam fans are tired of Sam being hostile toward Jason, they are tired of Jasam being Sam’s beck and call guy and they are certainly tired of waiting for the next step.  JaSam was never rushed but by now we should at least have them longing to be together even if they are still fighting it.

Anyone who knows a thing about JaSam history knows that Sam and Jason once reunited, would have never made the choices they have made, especially the ones Sam has made.  No one would have had to tell her she should be with Jason, Sam would have known this and not fought it.  Jason would have been understanding but still wanting Sam and it would be seen.

Why not give the JaSam fan base the reunion that they were cheated out of in 2012 because Jason was shot?  Steve is back, Kelly is there and JaSam fans want them back together.  The JaSam fan base is one of General Hospital’s biggest fan bases, so why not capitalize on that?

Why not let Sam and Jason be a family with their son Danny, the way they planned years ago?  Jason was cheated out of five years with his family, especially his son.  Jason has seen NOTHING on screen at least as to what happened while he was gone.

The man has not had a hook-up since Sam moved out before Danny was born.  Any red blooded American male would be crazy by now, Jason has great self-control however, JaSam fans wanted nothing more from that elevator scene other than Sam to push that stop button and then make love in the elevator.

Are you tired of waiting for Jason and Sam?  Or would you rather see them with other people?
