General Hospital Comings And Goings: Three Fan Favorites Are Out & A Fan Favorite Returns

General Hospital comings and goings indicate that fans won’t be seeing quite a few familiar faces anymore. As a matter of fact, it seems like more actors are leaving the show than joining it!

Ryan Paevey

As many people already know, actor Ryan Paevey has said his final good-bye. His character, Nathan, was shot and killed in Port Charles last week. Ryan is leaving the series in order to pursue other opportunities in the entertainment industry. But at the same time, he says that producers have told him that they are leaving the door open for his return in the future. So don’t scratch off Nathan just yet!

Anders Hove

Also, actor Anders Hove, who plays Port Charles villain Faison, is out, too. Faison also took his last breath on the show this past week. His co-star, Maurice Benard had nothing but wonderful things to say about the Danish actor. He said, “Anders is great. Anything you have somebody that quirky and crazy and all that, it’s really fun.”

Genie Francis

If that weren’t enough, fans will also be seeing less of Genie Francis. For many General Hospital viewers, Genie was an icon on the show. She joined the series back in 1976 as Laura Spencer. Unfortunately, though, Genie’s contract was demoted from full-time to recurring status only. An emotional Genie recently told her fans on Twitter, “I would like to thank all my wonderful fans for their support. It has made me feel so much better.”

Max Gail

Max Gail debuts on General Hospital this week as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) father Mike.  There will be a long story surrounding his return.

Suanne Spoke

Suanne will return as Rita, Mike’s girlfriend. We saw her last on GH as a bartender who encountered Jason in NYC.

Kimberly McCullough

Robin Scorpio-Drake is headed back to Port Charles for Nathan’s funeral.  Make sure to have a box of Kleenex ready!
