Great news for General Hospital fans! A longtime fan favorite is returning to Port Charles. Derk Cheetwood (Max Giambetti) posted on his twitter and facebook account that he was headed back to the ABC Soap. Fans immediately started replying to Derk saying, “About time. Can’t wait to c u & diane back together!!!” and “About time. Can’t wait to c u & diane back together!!!”

We are sure Derk’s return will certainly be involved in the Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Mike (Max Gail) storyline. But, whatever Derk will be doing we are glad to have him back!
