For those fans who have been wondering if they will be seeing Jordan Ashford on General Hospital again, we’ve got very good news. Now that Vinessa Antoine is leaving the show, there is someone else already available to fill her shoes as Jordan: newcomer Briana Nicole Henry. And she’s set to make her debut on the hit ABC soap very soon.
According to reports, fans will get to see Briana in action as Jordan Ashford beginning on September 13, which is just around the corner. Vinessa left General Hospital last month after it was announced that she would be taking on the lead role of a Canadian primetime series called Diggstown.
Vinessa was hoping to stay on General Hospital, but since she is filming Diggstown in Toronto, that would make it hard for her to travel back to Los Angeles for any General Hospital commitments.

If Briana looks familiar to some viewers, that’s because she’s already a daytime television veteran. She played Esmerelda on The Young and the Restless from 2013 to 2014. In addition, she also appeared on several episodes of NBC’s Undateable in 2015 and has appeared on the television shows Insecure and Shameless.
Briana Nicole is expected to begin taping more episodes on General Hospital this month, which means that fans will be seeing much more of her in the future. Of course, viewers will just have to tune in to find out what will happen to Jordan next.
As always, more detailed spoilers and a full collection of pictures for the week in question will appear here on Soap Opera Spy, where there will be more clues and hints over exactly what’s going on.
General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network.
