General Hospital Coming and Goings: Lily Fisher Returns As Georgie!

It looks like fans will be seeing a familiar face in Port Charles very soon. New General Hospital comings and goings indicate that actress Lily Fisher will soon be returning to the highly rated ABC soap. The young actress is reprising her role as Georgie as soon as next week.

According to new reports, this will be the first time little Georgie will get to see her on-screen brother, James West. Previously, actress Kristen Storm’s daughter played the role but now it belongs to Lily.

When Georgie was born back in August 2013, Kristen’s character Maxie acted as a surrogate for her best friend Lulu (Emme Rylan), who was unable to carry her own child with her husband Dante Falconeri (Domenic Zamprogna). But little did Lulu know that Maxie had actually miscarried the baby and then had gotten pregnant with her own.

This led to a pretty dramatic custody battle between Dante and Lulu and Maxie and her then-partner Damien Spinelli. In the end, it was Spinelli who was awarded full-time custody of the little girl.

Later that year Maxie’s case was revisited and she was granted some visitation rights to Georgie. The little girl lives full-time in Seattle with her father and Ellie Trout. Since then, she has been making sporadic appearances on the show. It will be interesting to see how Georgie will react to her little brother. Of course, fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
