General Hospital’s Chase Believes Michael Needs To Die To Catch Nelle

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Chase (Josh Swickard) may be planning Michael’s (Chad Duell) death, fake of course. Is Michael’s (Chad Duell) death the plan that Chase  pitched to Jordan (Vinessa Antoine)? If so, what purpose would that serve and for whom?

Chase promised Dante he would look out for Michael

When Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) left, Chase promised him to protect Michael. Does Chase believe Michael is in over his head with the engagement? Is faking Michael’s death the way Chase thinks he can protect him?

Michael’s death would be a useless plan unless Chase planned on a haunting. Let’s assume that Chase has Michael fake his death and then has Michael to haunt Nelle (Chloe Lanier) into a confession.

This plan would be totally unorthodox but would serve Nelle right after gaslighting Carly (Laura Wright). Just imagine Michael’s ghost accusing Nelle of killing Zack and driving his mother crazy. As a Carly fan, I would love to see this.

Nelle Was Never Tried For Murder

Nelle reported Chase to get the case dropped in Florida. There wasn’t enough concrete evidence to convict Nelle of Zack’s murder, but there was a civil trial. Could Michael scare her into admitting that she killed Zack? It would be amazing if Michael mentioned talking to Zack or to Morgan to haunt her. For Michael to see Nelle in the same situation has she put Carly it would be epic.

Would Nelle Go To Ferncliff?

It has been obvious for some time what a sociopath Nelle is. True justice for Carly would be for Nelle to be put in Ferncliff and have nurse Mary Pat (Patricia Bethune) to contend with.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) could surely put Rupert up to a few things as well. Nelle would fit right in with the patients on the maximum security ward and deserves to remain there for life.

Prison after all these years?

If Nelle admits to killing Zack, she could go to prison for murder. Michael could get sole custody of the baby unless it isn’t his of course. Nelle would be out of Michael’s life and hopefully, Carly would be home where she belongs. Nelle needs to pay for what she did to Zack, she’s gotten away with it for far too long.

An Issue Of Inheritance

Michael could easily set it up so his money and possessions would all go to Nelle. This could push Nelle to try and hurt Michael before he fakes his death even. Nelle has made it obvious that she is all about money and would fall for the plan, hook, line, and sinker. Greed will win out with Nelle, it always does.

Maybe we will get lucky and Nelle will be killed off. We certainly don’t need another Heather Webber (Robin Matson) and have Nelle escaping all the time. Michael faking his death is brilliant, as long as he doesn’t get caught in the crossfire.
