General Hospital’s Bradford Anderson Shares Exciting Oscar News

General Hospital star Bradford Anderson has some very exciting news about his family! The actor’s two daughters have managed to accomplish something that he’s yet to do, and that’s appear in an Oscar-nominated film.

Earlier this week the nominees were announced for this year’s 2018 Academy Awards. And it turns out that Bradford’s two daughters, Juna and Finola, appeared in one of the films that is up for Best Picture this year. The two young actresses had minor role in Lady Bird, a comedy drama about an outspoken teen and her turbulent relationship with her mother. The film was directed by Greta Gerwig and stars Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Timotee Chalamet and more.

Proud father Bradford took to his Twitter account to share his excitement. He wrote to his fans, “My kids beat me to it… They have appeared in an academy award nominated movie before me. Congrats to Greta, Saoirse, Laurie, and everyone affiliated with @LadyBirdMovie. It’s been a blast to watch this movie take shape and take flight!”

And while it doesn’t look like Bradford himself will be making his way to the Academy Award ceremony anytime soon, it’s great to see that his children are marking their footprints in Hollywood. Yet seeing just how popular Bradford’s character Spinelli is on General Hospital, anything can still happen in the future. After all, many soap stars tend to move on to bigger and better projects after several years on daytime television.
