General Hospital Alum Vanessa Marcil Opens Up About Nasty Custody Battle

General Hospital star Vanessa Marcil is opening up about a subject that she really hasn’t talked about in public before: her custody battle with her ex, Brian Austin Green. The daytime television actress shares a son, Kassius, with Brian, who is now married to Hollywood star Megan Fox.

According to Vanessa, things haven’t always been so easy between her and her ex. As a matter of fact, the beautiful brunette admits that she was pretty blindsided over how the couple treated her during their nasty custody battle over their now 16-year-old son.

Speaking to television host Lisa Ling on her show, Vanessa said, “12 years ago I was served legal papers and then spent 8 years+ defending myself and my son in custody court in response to his father and his stepmother trying to get full custody (that means I would have seen my son four days a month) and then asking me to pay them child support.”

If that weren’t enough, Vanessa alleges that Brian and Megan have been trying to make her life anything but easy. The General Hospital star also reveals that Kassius has never ever met all of Brian Austin’s children.

She continued, “They lost that case and a civil case asking me for 200,000…I had also never asked for child support of any kind and had never tried to take time away from Kass’ dad seeing him. Ever. In the end they lost all of these court cases. The judge called them all ‘Frivolous.’ They always had 50% custody and still did when court ended as I had and have NEVER asked for full custody. Then, 5 years ago on their own they decided to completely cut Kass out of their lives and his younger brothers’ lives. Kass has never met his youngest brother and is not allowed to know where his bio father, stepmother, and three younger brothers live.”
