General Hospital alum Emma Samms took to social media this week to share some surprising news with her followers.
Emma Samms is well known among General Hospital viewers for her role as Holly Sutton Scorpio. Emma appeared in over 60 episodes of the ABC soap opera, spanning from the early 1980’s to 2015.

Emma shared a photo of herself rocking an eye patch and revealed that she was struggling with a disease called Bell’s Palsy. The General Hospital alum is in good spirits though and she joked, “I have a wonky smile, am in slight danger of dribbling a cup of tea and can’t close my eye.”
