General Hospital Alum Jennifer Bassey Shares Exciting News!

General Hospital alum Jennifer Bassey (Quinn Danvers) is sharing some very exciting news about her personal life. The actress, who also starred on All My Children as Marian Colby, has tied the knot with her new husband, George Bamford.

According to reports, Jennifer and George first got engaged in November 2016 in Waikiki, Hawaii. They then had a secret wedding ceremony on April 19 at the City Clerk’s Office in New York City. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family for their very special day.

The 75-year-old actress is best known for her roles as Marian Colby on All My Children and of course, Quinn Danvers on General Hospital. The last time we saw her in Port Charles was back in 2017. She’s also starred in several different television series, including Anacostia, Greenport Until We Meet Again, The Depths and Woman of a Certain Age. Jennifer also had a small role on Grey’s Anatomy back in 2013.

Congratulations to Jennifer Bassey on this new journey in her life. While there’s no doubt that fans definitely miss seeing her on daytime television, it’s great to see that she’s very happy and more importantly in love with her new husband George Bamford. We wish the happy couple nothing but the best! Jennifer also proves that you can definitely find love at any age. But at the same time, here’s hoping that Jennifer might one day make a surprise guest appearance in Port Charles. Sadly, Jennifer hasn’t made any indications that she would want to return to daytime television. Either way, we still have our fingers crossed!
