General Hospital Alum Ignacio Serricchio Scores Role On New TV Show

General Hospital fans have seen dozens of actors and characters come and go over the years.  But, no one ever seems to forget the charming Diego Sanchez, played by Ignacio Serricchio.

Ignacio played the part of Diego on General Hospital from 2002-2004, and then he returned to Port Charles again in 2008 briefly.  After his time on GH, Ignacio appeared on CBS soap The Young and the Restless as Alex Chavez for a few years as well.

So, what’s Ignacio up to now?  The former General Hospital star has scored a role on a highly anticipated new Netflix series, “Lost In Space.”

Technically Lost In Space isn’t exactly “new,” it’s a reboot of a hit 1960’s TV show.  According to teasers from Netflix, the Lost in Space series will pick up 30 years later, following the adventures of a family of pioneering space colonists whose spaceship veers off-course.

Serricchio plays Don West, described as “roguish,” “inadvertently charming” and “a highly skilled, blue-collar contractor, who had no intention of joining the colony, let alone crash-landing on a lost planet.”

Lost In Space is set to debut on Netflix on April 13 2018. Will you be tuning in?
