Emmerdale Spoilers: Tom Waterhouse Shocker Revealed

Shame, shame, shame on, “Tom Waterhouse.” Everyone in Emmerdale now knows not just that he’s behind the golf course development, but that he’s actually Joseph Tate!

Charity (Emma Atkins) was right all along to be suspicious of the smooth talking pretty boy. But even she couldn’t have envisioned the true extent of his deceit.

So, who is Joe Tate? He is Chris and Rachel Hughes’ son. His mother was killed when an unhinged boyfriend pushed her over a cliff.

After her death the boy was raised by Chris until his untimely demise; unfortunately Chris developed a fatal brain tumor.

But that wasn’t what killed him. In classic soapy fashion, a vengeful Chris figured out a way to frame his premature death on someone else, thus ruining their life.

Who was the unlucky person? Charity! Chris could not forgive her for cheating on him, and so decided to poison himself and make it look like Charity was behind his death.

With the finger of guilt squarely pointed at innocent Charity, the police had no choice but to arrest her. At the same time Joe was taken in by Chris’ sister in New Zealand, never to be heard from again.

Until now. Yes, Charity’s Spidey-sense was right on the money about Tom/Joe, he’s a piece pf work!

Joe has been busy in the intervening years, using his dad’s money to become a successful businessman. Now he’s come back to the scene of the crime, so to speak, with a few scores to settle.

Right or wrong, Joe blames Charity for his dad’s death. What does he have in store for her? Now that he has nothing (supposedly) left to hide, what will Joe do next?

In the coming days Joe will make it clear he’s settling into the Dales, further escalating the current tensions. How far will the chagrined residents go to neutralize the threat of his presence, and what will he do in response? Stay tuned, fans!
