Emmerdale Spoilers: Lachlan White Snaps, Will He Kill His Own Family?

Emmerdale spoilers tease the soap opera is lining up a bombshell stunt for New Year’s and not everyone involved may survive. Will someone in the White family perish before they can exit the village on their own terms?

First off January kicks off on Emmerdale with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) intent on finding out what, if anything, the family is keeping from him.

His detective confirms that the family are planning to relocate Down Under and taking baby Seb of course; mom Rebecca (Emily Head) doesn’t think that Robert is any good for their son.

But complicating matters is the fact that Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson) doesn’t want to move. So his mom does what any good mother would, and sees to it that he does what she wants.

How? Emmerdale spoilers tease that she tells Lachlan’s girlfriend some home truths about the dark lad, leaving her in shock. She has no recourse but to break up with Lachlan once she finds out the mess that he’s been up to.

Too bad the family doesn’t have a similar contingency plan for Robert, who successfully kidnaps Seb right out from under them.

As a result a terrific car chase scene ensues, which we all know never ends well on soaps!  In one  speeding car Lachlan picks that time to tell his mom that he knows what she did to sabotage his relationship, and is mad as heck about it.

Unfortunately Lachlan has a death wish but what he does next endangers some innocent people, not just himself.

Emmerdale spoilers tease that the unbalanced guy takes a stab at grabbing the steering wheel, with disastrous consequences. What are the chances a big old truck is barreling toward them right at that moment?

All of this tumult happens because Rebecca decides that going to Australia will be much better in the end for baby Seb. There was no way she could have known the dangerous sequence of events that she would set in motion.
