Whether it’s an unholy alliance or a match made in heaven remains to be seen but EastEnders spoilers reveal that fans will soon see Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) join forces.
In the aftermath of the crazy failed heist, Phil’s son Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid) is gone and Phil is desperate to find him and the loot.
Sadly the loot was switched out leaving Ben bereft in Paris, but that’s another story. Back in Walford Phil is stunned to learn that Mel has returned after 16 long years.

Next week Phil will do anything to help and save Ben, and so he turns to Mel. The two meet up and Phil starts issuing threats as per his usual. However things take a drastic turn that Phil never saw coming.
Mel fills him in on the deal with her own son Hunter (Charlie Winter). The two parents soon realize that they need to help each other in order to help their kids and talk turns to Aiden (Patrick Bergin) and the botched heist.
On the BBC One soap the two characters realize that starting off by talking to barman Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) is the way to kick off their search. But getting the elusive answers they need will be like finding a needle in a haystack.
What could EastEnders’ Mick possibly know that could help them? And even if he does know something, will he freely give up the information?
In the coming days look for Phil and Mel to become thick as thieves (pun intended) as they try to get to the bottom of their mutual dilemma.
