EastEnders Spoilers: Martin’s Statement Derails Ruby’s Case

EastEnders spoilers indicate that Martin Fowler’s statement to the police might end up destroying Ruby Allen’s sexual assault case. As a matter of fact, Martin’s drastically different account of what had happened the night that Ruby was assaulted could lead to the police dismissing the case altogether. This, of course, would be good news for her attackers Ross and Matt.

Encouraged by Stacey, Ruby reported the assault to the police. Stacey explained that Ruby was hesitant at first because she didn’t want the news to come out. She also said that she was a shy person. But at the same time, Martin said in his statement that Ruby was a very outgoing and flirty person who often chatted it up with men.

Even though Stacey pointed out that Ruby didn’t want to sleep with both men, the police now have doubts in their mind. To complicate matters even more, Martin shows the police a photo of Ruby sharing a kiss with Ross during the party. It wasn’t until later that Martin felt guilty over his actions.

Stacey was hoping that Ross and Matt would be arrested and charged, but now that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. All Ruby has is Stacey for support. Martin, meanwhile, might crack and say that he doesn’t believe Ruby in the same way that Stacey does. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
