EastEnders Cast News: Will Kacey Ainsworth Return As Little Mo?

Soap stars come and go on their shows, and the same goes for “EastEnders.” One cast members that fans are surely missing is Little Mo, played by Kacey Ainsworth, who last seen on the show in 2006. Will she be the next soap star to make a comeback?

In an interview with Rylan Clark-Neal’s BBC Sounds podcast, Kacey shared that she is yearning to see herself again on “EastEnders” and work with her co-stars again, via Digital Spy.

So, is she really coming back? Ainsworth feels doubtful about it as of the time being due to her personal limitations.

EastEnders Spoilers – Will Little Mo Return?

“My problem is I’m too busy. Every time we’ve had a conversation about it, I’ve gone and got another job. Then, I’m not available for the year,” Kacey explains.

Despite her time constraints, Kacey admits she still wants to see herself back with her soap colleagues again, although she’s in contact with her fellow Slaters occasionally.

“My onscreen family live in my heart, all of them,” EastEnders actress confessed.

Well, considering that Kacey played the role of Little Mo from 2000 to 2006, having her EastEnders family hold a special place in her heart is already a given.

Reminiscing their good old times together, Kacey shared how they dealt with each other like a real family.

“They live in my heart because we went through so much together,” she added.

And how could Kacey forget her journey with her EastEnders family?

“We didn’t do a script read through because we did like three months of improvising. We did the workshop situation first, it just all gelled. I didn’t know what was happening at the time but we all just gelled together. I knew it was going to be successful, you don’t always know but I knew because of the power of the people,” she recalled.

So unfortunately, Little Mo is not coming back anytime soon. But while Kacey said it is not something she can prioritize right now, she is not ruling out the possibility of a Slater family getting reunited once more.

“We’ll have a reunion, when I’ve had my face lift,” Kacey added.
