DOOL and GH Receive 2019 Writers Guild Nominations

We’ve got good news for both Days of Our Lives and General Hospital fans. Both soaps have just earned nominations for the 2019 Writers Guild Awards! They are the sole nominees for the four daytime soap operas that are currently on the air. The Writers Guild Award honors the outstanding work and writing of some of the best soaps and series on television now.

DOOL Spoilers – The Nomination Is Well Deserved

The Days of Our Lives nomination is definitely a well-deserved one, thanks to the hard work of head writer Ron Carlivati and his team. They include Sheri Anderson, Lorraine Broderick, David Cherrill, Joanna Cohen, Lisa Connor, Carolyn Culliton, Richard Culliton, Rick Draughon, Cydney Kelley, David Kreizman, David A. Levinson, Rebecca McCarty, Ryan Quan, Dave Ryan, Katherine Schock, Elizabeth Snyder, and Tyler Topits.

GH Spoilers – The Team Is Led By ….

Meanwhile, the General Hospital writing team is led by co-head writers Shelly Altman and Chris Van Ettan. Both writers love to give fans a behind-the-scenes look and insider info on what’s ahead on the long-running soap. Their team of writers includes Barbara Bloom, Anna Theresa Cascio, Suzanne Flynn, Charlotte Gibson, Lucky Gold, Kate Hall, Elizabeth Korte, Daniel James O’Connor, Donny Sheldon, and Scott Sickles.

The Awards Will Be Held ...

The 71st annual 2019 Writers Guild Awards will be held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles and in New York City at the Edison Ballroom. We can’t wait to find out who the winners are!
