Days of Our Lives Weekly Spoilers March 26 to 30: Total Blindness Leaves Steve Devastated – Kayla Struggles to Comfort Her Husband

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for the week of March 26-30 tease that we’ll see some heartbreaking moments. DOOL’s weekly preview video offers your first look at Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) devastation. “Days” fans have been preparing for the day when Steve inevitably goes blind, but it’s still going to be brutal.

Sadly, that emotional episode is coming up this week. As Steve sits at the pub, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will walk in and sense that something’s terribly wrong. Steve will softly explain that he can’t see anything. His eyesight will be totally gone.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Kayla will take Steve to the hospital for another examination. She’ll know this is the part they’ve been dreading, but she might hold out hope for a miracle. Kayla just isn’t ready to watch Steve go through the rest of this terrible ordeal.

Marlena (Deidre Hall) will wish there was something she could do to help fix this. She’ll research some experimental treatments for Steve, but she may not have much luck. Meanwhile, both Kayla and Steve will try to be strong for each other. They won’t want to show how much they’re hurting during this crisis.

Nevertheless, Steve’s world is crumbling and neither one of them can avoid the waterworks forever. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers state that Kayla will get Steve a pair of sunglasses. Once Steve puts them on, all of this will become quite real. Steve will accept that he’s blind now and there’s nothing he can do about it. He’ll break down in tears over losing his independence and the ability to see his loved ones.

“Days” spoilers say Kayla will offer reassurance in the darkness. She’ll insist that this could never change their deep bond. They’ll sob together as Kayla promises Steve will always be the man she fell in love with. It sounds like DOOL viewers will need their tissue boxes this week!

Fortunately, there’s a good chance Steve’s vision will be restored down the road. It’s tough to believe “Days” would make Nichols play a blind man indefinitely. If John’s (Drake Hogestyn) the one to find the solution, that’d make the end of all this even better.
