Days of Our Lives Spoilers Wednesday, August 8: Stefan Slapped During Abby Faceoff – Eli and Lani Lock Lips – Hope’s Plan Fails

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Wednesday, August 8, tease that Abigail (Marci Miller) and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) will face off. He just arrived at Jennifer’s (Melissa Reeves) place, so DOOL fans can expect quite a showdown. Stefan will be insufferable as he waltzes in and starts making demands. He’ll want Abigail to be clear on the role he’ll play in this child’s life.

Abigail has taken responsibility for her actions, but she should really stop blaming herself. Her personalities may be integrated now, but they certainly weren’t when she went to bed with Stefan. Abigail was suffering from a severe mental illness. Stefan took advantage of Abigail’s DID and ultimately her body as well. This was rape and there’s just no getting around that.

As a result, Abigail’s resentment is simmering inside. It’ll build to full-blown rage during this fierce confrontation. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Abigail will give Stefan a hard slap on Wednesday. It should bring her great pleasure, but it won’t change Stefan’s mind about being an involved father.

Meanwhile, Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) will grow closer. They’ll reflect on the loss of their baby and find themselves leaning toward each other’s lips. “Days” spoilers state that Eli will eventually kiss Lani, so love could be in the air for these two.

Across town, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will pay Marlena (Deidre Hall) a visit. She’ll have an important request to pass along, but her plan will fail miserably. Despite Hope’s insistence, Marlena will refuse to have Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) recommitted. She’ll believe Ben’s on the right path, so Hope will need an alternate strategy.

Other “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Tripp (Lucas Adams) will battle some jealousy. He definitely won’t be happy about Ben’s unexpected trip to the loft. Nevertheless, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) will agree to speak with Ben and hear his urgent news. Since Ben recently went under hypnosis, he experienced total recall. Now Ben can be completely sure that he didn’t set the blaze.
