Days of Our Lives Spoilers Thursday, August 2: Eric Pops the Question – Gabi Seeks Alliance with Kate – Chad Copes with Paternity Pain

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Thursday, August 2, tease that Jennifer’s (Melissa Reeves) confession plan will be derailed. Eric (Greg Vaughan) will insist on sweeping Jen off her feet this evening. He’ll want to make Jennifer feel special and loved, so he’ll treat her to a nice dinner at Doug’s Place. It won’t be long until he begins a sweet speech and ultimately drops to one knee.

DOOL viewers can expect a touching proposal, but Jennifer won’t give Eric the answer he wants – at least not initially. She’ll urge Eric to sit back down and let her explain her rejection. “Days” spoilers say Eric will get pretty frustrated, so he’ll walk out the door and take some time to cool off. He’s really head over heels for Jen, but he won’t think she feels the same way.

Once Eric bolts, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) will mosey over and offer Jennifer some advice. She won’t think Jen should let guilt destroy her dreams. Eve will push Jennifer to go after Eric and make this right. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Jennifer will do just that a little later. It looks like she’ll decide to marry Eric and keep the news about Nicole (Arianne Zucker) to herself.

Elsewhere, Gabi (Camila Banus) will reach out to Kate (Lauren Koslow). She’ll have an important pitch to make, so she’ll choose her words carefully. Gabi will come clean about part of her plot and ask Kate to become her partner against Stefan (Tyler Christopher). She’ll think that their alliance would be downright unstoppable!

“Days” fans know Kate’s fed up with Stefan right now. She’d love to put an end to his blackmail, so she might as well accept Gabi’s offer. They could become a dynamic duo against the devious DiMera. Meanwhile, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) will have a crucial chat. They’ve been facing some issues thanks to Gabi’s paternity manipulation, but Chad’s ready to give things another shot.

Unfortunately, the “Chabby” peace won’t last. Chad will end up walking away from Abigail next week, so their problems are far from over.
