Days of Our Lives Spoilers & Recap Monday, December 24: Julie Shocks Everyone Shows Up At Horton Party

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, December 24, 2018 reveals Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) is baking cookies for the tree decorating party. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) tells Claire the Horton Christmas party isn’t happening because Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) hasn’t woken up.

DOOL Spoilers – Horton Party Back On

Ciara and Claire can’t remember a Christmas eve without the party. Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) knocks on the door with a gift for Ciara. Claire goes to spend time with Tripp (Lucas Adams). Ben asks about Julie and Ciara tells him there has been no change. Ben has gotten her a bell for her bike to ward off evil spirits and danger. Ben nor Ciara has plans for tonight. Ciara and Ben make plans to go ice skating. Julie calls and tells Ciara that Julie is awake and she promised they would have the party. Ben tells Ciara he understands and she needs to go.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers Julie Wakes Up

Days of Our Lives’ Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Doug (Bill Hayes) are sitting with Julie, Doug begs her to wake up. Julie tells Doug he’s her life too. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) talk to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) in the hallway, Jennifer comes out and tells them Julie is awake. Sarah checks Julie out and believes she will be fine, but she wants to do some tests to be sure. When asked what happened, Julie says Gabi (Camila Banus) happened. Julie remembers everything but what she found in Gabi’s room.

Days of Our Lives’ Gabi is looking at the test results when Chad (Billy Flynn) comes in and asks what she has there. Gabi tells Chad that’s Ari’s (Sydney and Harper Udell) Christmas list. Chad asks why it can’t be traced back to her then. Gabi tells Chad she forgot to move the elf. Gabi says she doesn’t want to ruin her child’s belief in Santa Clause and she’s been asking question lately. Chad tells Gabi he understands. Gabi tells Chad she doesn’t want Ari around Leo every day and is moving back to her parent’s house.

DOOL Spoilers Chad Agrees To Move In With Gabi

Gabi invites Chad and Thomas to move in with her. Rafe arrives and tells Gabi that Julie has regained consciousness. Gabi asks what Julie said, Rafe tells her that Julie said she was looking for information to prove Gabi set Abby up. Gabi tells Rafe she didn’t do anything to Julie. Chad moves the elf and thanks Gabi for taking Thomas (Asher Morrissette) to see Santa. Chad apologizes for everything that Abby (Kate Mansi) has said. Chad agrees to move in with Gabi. Chad puts gifts under the tree for Thomas. Gabi finds a gift that Chad bought for Abby last year. Chad and Gabi are sitting on the couch having a snack. Chad leaves the room, and Gabi burns the test results.

Days Of Our Lives Abby Serves Divorce Papers To Stefen

Days of Our Lives’ Stefan (Tyler Christopher) opens his gift from Abby; it’s divorce papers. Abby tells him it’s divorce papers, he questions why. Abby tells him Gabby has been gone for a long time and is never coming back. Abby tells Stefan this was so easy once she moved in there. Abby says Stefan saw what he wanted to see. Stefan says what they had was real, Abby tells him none of it was real, she was pretending. Abby tells Stefan she is leaving with Charlotte, he tries to talk her out of it.

Abby comes downstairs with Charlotte, Stefan threatens to sue for custody. Abby opens the door to find Ben standing there. Abby demands to know why Ben is there. Stefan tells Abby that Ben is his head of security. Abby is furious that Ben has been living in the house with her and the baby. Stefan tells Ben that Abby was pretending all along. Ben apologizes for not being able to stop Abby from leaving. Stefan says he’s not giving up on her; Ben asks Stefan if he means Abby or Gabby. Ben and Stefan sit in silence. Ben gets up and walks toward the door as Stefan looks at his divorce papers.

DOOL The Horton Party Begins

Days of Our Lives’ Jennifer hosts the Horton family party. Rafe and Hope are there along with Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey). Eli goes downstairs to get more boxes. Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) and Sarah bring more things into the living room as well. Hope is worried that Ciara changed her mind about coming to the party. Jennifer is picking out ornaments to hang. Ciara and Claire arrive together. Claire and Ciara replaced each other’s ornaments that broke last year.

Hope presents Lani with an ornament for the baby she and Eli lost. Abby arrives with Charlotte before Jennifer hangs her ornament. Jennifer asks if it’s Abby, she says yes. Abby tells Jennifer that she’s been Abby all along. Abby tells them she faked the relapse to get Stefan to get her out of Bayview. Abby cannot believe her mother had her committed. Jennifer says she and Chad needed Abby to get help. Abby tells Jennifer she decided for her. Abby tells her she is fine and has been fine and she has divorced Stefan. Abby says none of them have any power over her anymore.

Abby asks if Jennifer was going to hang her looney daughter’s ornament as well. Abby tells them she makes the decisions about her life and tells Rafe he’s not going to prove that Gabi is telling the truth. Hope hugs, Jennifer, as Abby walks out. Julie and Doug arrive, and she yells surprise, Merry Christmas, everyone looks shocked. Julie asks why everyone is so grim. Hope says Sarah didn’t release her, Doug says Kayla did, and Sarah is there to observe her. Doug and Julie hang their ornaments. Hope checks on Jennifer who begins to cry.

The show ends with a dedication to Frank Parker who portrayed Shawn Brady from 1983 to 2008.
