Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Marlena Wakes Up As Hattie – Real Marlena’s Missing

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) family will gather at the hospital to say their final goodbyes as they prepare to take her off life support. Soon thereafter, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will remove Marlena’s ventilator and the family will brace for Marlena’s death.

John has been praying for a miracle, and it looks like he’ll get it…sort of. Marlena will pull through, which means she’ll start breathing on her own once the ventilator’s removed. And eventually Marlena will wake up, but there’ll be a wrinkle. She’ll wake up as Hattie Adams!

Hattie (Deidre Hall), who hasn’t been seen since earlier this year, is Marlena’s lookalike and has assumed Marlena’s identity in the past. Hattie may look like Marlena, but her personality is quite different. It should be quite a shock when “Marlena” wakes up with Hattie’s voice, demeanor, and brash personality!

But what’s going on here? How in the world could it be Hattie in that hospital bed instead of Marlena? Marlena woke up prior to being put on the ventilator and she was clearly Marlena. Or was she? Could that have all been an act, and it was actually Hattie who got shot on Marlena’s wedding day?

Perhaps in all of the Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) chaos at the wedding, Marlena was abducted and Hattie assumed Marlena’s place without anyone noticing. It’s definitely something that Kristen could be behind, or perhaps Hattie was on another wild mission of her own.

No matter who was behind the switch, John’s going to be stunned beyond belief, and he’s going to need to regroup to try to find the real Marlena, who will be officially missing. He’ll likely suspect Kristen, and hopefully Hattie will be alert enough to fill in John on what the heck happened so he can find “Doc” safe and sound.How do you think Hattie wound up in Marlena’s place?
